First, we understood the warranty to say Installation not covered on these windows, which is sad because we paid for the original installation and painting. Two of the 15 windows installed are now fogging up from gas escaping Unfortunately, these windows are no longer made by Ply Gem previously own another claim for different set of windows, the sash was sent, and there was no installation charges involved because we just slipped these in that time now we are filing the latest claim and now the company is saying we only cover glass because the window sash which they sent earlier for the other claim, is no longer made and you have to pay to have the piece of glasses put in because we dont cover installation, which previously meant the whole window installed. Now in my opinion, the warranty still exist as it was, even though the windows dont. we received a price from a business that will put the glass in if we receive it from Ply Gem for almost $700 for two windows that is more than the window probably cost originally and Lord help us if the other 13 windows go REMOVEDthe company that we bought them from who sells this window offers to pay half still leaving us with a bill of almost $400!!! we tried to work this out by calling REMOVEDand the man that my husband talked to spoke to him so disrespectful I just cannot believe it and my husband just wanted to explain the situation I contacted them on their instant message through REMOVEDagain and the lady said she would send this to a supervisor, Lord knows how long-well have to waitPly Gem since they no longer make this window through thru No fault of mine needs to take care of the price of putting the glass in the sash. Ihave no doubt the installation wording meant installing a window, not putting glass and a sash again if the window was not discontinued, obviously because it was horrible window, we would have a sash with the glass sent to us, and we would simply pop it in

I purchased my home in 2019 and over the last year 3 widows have shown signs of broken seals. The widows are under warranty and I filed a claim via the portal with explanations, photos, and additional requested information. The last correspondence was in September and I have requested an update to my claim several times and have received no reply. I was dealing with a representative REMOVEDand my request for updates have gone unanswered. I would like an update to my claim and schedule someone to repair the seals on my windows.

Several windows in our home have faded and we file a claim with Ply Gem Cornerstone Building and they sent us replacement windows. In May, we noticed another window faded and we contacted REMOVEDand she told us to file another claim. We did and never heard back. Finally, REMOVEDasked us to resubmit the picture and label again. We never heard from Ms. REMOVEDagain after a dozen attempts. We called the corporate office and was told to contact the supervisor REMOVED. We left several messages and sent an email, but haven't heard back.

One of my Ply Gem windows is collecting dirt between the 2 panes of glass. I looked online to determine if I had a warranty on the window. I completed claim form on Oct 19th, case # PG-REMOVED-Q4V2G2 (received an auto reply via email). Upon hearing nothing further, I sent follow up emails on Oct 26th and again Oct 30th. I also went to Ply Gem's web page and completed a "contact us" email form asking for some follow up. So far, zero response from REMOVEDor their parent company Cornerstone. I believe my window is covered by the warranty and I'm seeking the replacement window panel (lower, moveable part of the window). Pictures were uploaded as part of original warranty claim.

On November 13, 2024, I purchased a Reliabilt sliding glass door (model REMOVED) from Lowes, which was professionally installed and has been in normal residential use since that date.On October 23, 2025, less than a year after purchase, the exterior glass pane of the sliding door spontaneously shattered in the middle of the afternoon. The weather was calm no wind, impact, or visible damage occurred and the glass simply exploded outward on its own. The incident was both shocking and dangerous.I immediately contacted Lowes, who escalated the issue to Atrium Windows and Doors, the manufacturer of the Reliabilt product line. Despite the failure clearly occurring within the one-year warranty period, Atrium refused coverage, claiming this was an act of God.That explanation is unacceptable. There was no external force, impact, or misuse this was plainly a manufacturing defect or material failure. To deny warranty coverage under these circumstances is inexcusable and inconsistent with both product warranty obligations and reasonable consumer expectations.I am requesting that Atrium Windows and Doors and Lowes work together to provide a full replacement of the defective exterior glass panel at no cost.Additionally, I ask that Atrium issue a written acknowledgment that such spontaneous glass failures will be treated seriously in the future, as they present a significant safety hazard to homeowners.Desired Resolution:Free replacement of the defective exterior glass panel (Reliabilt Model REMOVED).Written confirmation that the incident is covered under the one-year warranty.Acknowledgment that spontaneous glass failures will be addressed responsibly going forward.Attachments:Lowes purchase receipt from November 13th, 2024 Photos of the shattered exterior glass showing no impact damage Copies of correspondence with Lowes and Atrium regarding the claim

On September 2, 2025, I submitted a warranty claim to Cornerstone Brands for a cracked window. This claim was made within the warranty period, which expired on September 24, 2025. The crack clearly originated from the frame with no visible point of impact, indicating a manufacturing defect rather than damage caused by use.Despite submitting my claim on time, Cornerstone Brands did not respond until October 30, 2025, over seven weeks later. Their response stated that my claim was outside the warranty period, which is incorrect based on my original submission date. When I provided proof of the submission date, they then changed their reasoning, claiming that glass is not covered under the warranty. When my home was built, I received documentation outlining warranty coverage, which specifically included windows for one year. It appears the company is refusing to honor its warranty obligations by offering multiple, inconsistent excuses rather than resolving the issue in good faith.I am requesting that Cornerstone Brands honor the valid warranty claim and repair or replace the defective window as originally covered.
