    installed in my basement. When they initially came out to quote me, **** (the owner) was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave great advice on what would need to be done and explained everything in way that was easy to understand. **** even offered advice on things I could do myself outside to save some money. This was in the aftermath of Hurricane ****** and **** was transparent in letting me know they had a few jobs ahead of me but would be out as soon as possible. They were very attentive and replied to all of my emails within a hour of sending providing updates on when they would be here. When the MWR crew came out to work they were very friendly and after a quick look around got straight to work. I was impressed with the work ethic of this crew they knocked on the door to let me know they were here and immediately got to work everyday not taking breaks other than grabbing food for lunch. Throughout the process they were transparent on what they were doing and how they were installing the drainage system. They were very friendly and professional throughout the process. On the final day we actually received around 2 inches of rain so I immediately was able to see the product at work. This was the first time I have had a dry basement after a heavy rainstorm and am thoroughly pleased with the work and system provided. I would highly recommend MWR for any of your home or water repair needs!

    **** did a very professional job that should prevent any future water problems in the basement. The system that he uses was a much better choice for us. After finishing the installation, he also pressure washed the concrete floor and efficiently cleaned up. We are very pleased with all aspects of his work.

    Update 1/24/2024
    It's unfortunate that I have to update my rating and lower it, but it seems necessary as the owner has no intentions of making contact with me. I had a French drain installed at my house, and per my last review they did a good job.
    The issue I have with the company/owner now (which can be solved quite easily by the way) is not receiving a receipt for the $299 warranty check they did on the French drain/sump pump on January 5th. As trusting as some people can be, I would rather have proof that the warranty check was done and paid for, should any issues happen to the work they did.
    Time and time again, I tried reaching out to the owner, but no contact has been made, despite leaving multiple voicemails. It's an uneasy feeling having to ask for something so simple as a receipt, only to be ignored. I'm not stating that the owner took $299 from me, but it sure feels that way when there's no proof(receipt) given to me, even though he told me he would send it to me that day.
    If the French drain or sump pump were to fail, it would be my word against his despite me paying for a warranty. All in all, this tells me that they are not confident in their work quality.

    Thank you for the review **************'ve emailed you the receipt multiple times now. I came out spend close to 45 mins there testing the system a year later and you commented how the system had had no problems and worked great for the past year since we installed it. Now you lower your review due to a RECEIPT, not the job and quality of work done. I'm sorry you feel the way you do about not receiving a receipt for a yearly warranty and maintenance check but I can assure you it was sent and if you need anything you have this response as proof I *************************** Owner of MWR came on January 5th, 2024 and your warranty is good til the same time next year. thank you for your time an business.

    Needs to do better communicating with customers after you took the deposit. You say a month and half to start. 2 months later still haven't started. You need to reach out to customer to say behind schedule. When finally did start the job said would be there at 10 AM. Showed at 145 PM. Every day there after showed up between 1130 am to 1 PM left at 5PM. No wonder they stay behind. Can't do much only working 5 hours a day. The work was completed finally.

    We are a small company and we do our best to communicate with our customers the best we can. I stated when I took the job that I do not give start dates because the nature of our job and schedule is solely due to the weather and unpredictable nature of the things we run into making jobs last longer than anticipated. I'm the owner and I handle everything as so to keep cost down for my customers and I try to do my best at keeping up with phone calls and all but sometimes I don't remember everything, I'm only human we all make mistakes. I did also tell you and your mother at the time of taking the job to contact me if you need anything and you called and I either answered or returned your call every time to answer your questions. as for getting to your job late is we start at 8 and your home is and hour and ********************************************************************************* the landfill and if you've ever been to Lowes in the mornings it's a night mare for contractors to get in and out of and the landfill is that or worse and it closes at 4 pm so leaving at 5pm makes us have to go the next morning. There's a lot going on from the start at 8 til our arrival time and we leave at 5 pm because it takes that hour and 15 mins to get home and still got to get unloaded for the day and ready for the next so that leaves us getting off at 7-8pm. That's a ***** hour day for us. We got the job done and I'm glad you gave us this review I understand your frustration an I'm sorry for causing any of it but I do hope you understand a little more now from my response. Thank you for being a valued customer of ********************** and I hope our system does you well for the future.

    Work looks good and price reasonable. Crew were knowledgeable and hard workers. It took longer than expected, but it was worth the time.

    My basement is still flooding, and underneath the plastic it's a small swimming pool. And at the basement door as well. Should have went with a different company
