K&M ******* in *******, ** had my car for 9 weeks! There was damage to the right front from where someone backed into it at a convenience store. The adjuster for my insurance company looked at the **** I sent to him and estimated that the cost should around $2200 dollars give or take a few dollars. When K&M got done with all of there charges the total came to over $10k! They held our car ****** for weeks while going back and forth with the insurance company over their charges. Charges that had nothing to do with the repairs of the car, such as, placing a plastic cover over the steering wheel and the seat! Charges to sanitize the car. Really! Charged to take the stickers off the new parts and even charges to opening the boxes that the parts came in! I could say more but I will refrain myself in doing so. If you ever have someone mention taking your car to K&M for repairs - RUN!

Dear ****,Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I sincerely apologize for the lengthy repair process and the frustrations you experienced during this time. We understand how difficult it can be to be without your vehicle, and Im sorry for the inconvenience this caused and fully acknowledge we missed the mark.To address your concerns:Repair Timeline: We recognize that 9 weeks is an extended period to wait for repairs, and we apologize for the delay. The time taken can vary depending on factors like parts availability, the extent of the damage, and coordination with the insurance company. However, we are working to improve our efficiency and communication to prevent such lengthy delays in the future.Charges and Estimate: I want to clarify that there was no disparity between our pricing and what was ultimately agreed upon with your insurance company. The final cost reflects the necessary repairs and the use of genuine OEM parts to restore your vehicle to its pre-accident condition. i would like to add that insurance missed damages on their initial photo estimate which did cause the estimate to increase. While some charges may seem unusual, it is part of our commitment to protect your vehicle and ensure the highest quality of repair. We value your feedback and take it seriously as we strive to provide the best service possible. If you would like to discuss this further or if theres anything we can do to address your concerns, please dont hesitate to reach out directly.

The Worst- We brought our ******************************************************************************************************************************************** the roof. K&M was not informative about what was going on with the car once they took it it. We inquired a week later and found they had not yet had communication with our Insurance adjuster, although they noted that the car was in the disassemply phase. Not sure why they would be disassemply a car that hadn't be in a collision and why they were doing that without an estimate or the adjuster approval. It was a week later that we heard from our adjuster advising us that the repair cost would be $14,000.00, which in turn was more that 75% of the car value and it would be a total loss. We inquired with insurance about getting a 2nd estimate and we were told that wouldn't be an option and if we wanted to do that we would have to pay the charges from K&M for miscellaneous charges and storage totalling $3,500.00. I am not sure why my Insurance was not disputing the estimate as it covered what they were saying needed to be repaired from the front on car to back. None of these items were related to this incident. Totally bogus estimate and obviously very overstated. I did research one of the parts which was the inside door panel which was priced between $450-500 for the manufacturers part, but was listed on their estimate at $1,400.00 (200% markup). Breakdown of $4k in materials/parts and $10k labor. We had no choice but agree to release car to insurance company and they paid the fee to K&M. This is a a total sham. If you hear the name ****** I'm telling you RUN AWAY!! as fast and as far as you can.

Dear *****,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and I apologize for any frustration and confusion this situation has caused. We strive to provide clear and transparent communication, so I regret that we fell short of your expectations. To address your concerns:Communication: It's clear that there was a disconnect in keeping you updated on the status of your vehicle. We understand how important it is for our customers to be fully informed, and we will work to improve our communication processes to ensure this does not happen again.Disassembly: Disassembly is often necessary, even for minor damage, to accurately assess the full extent of the repairs needed, especially when hidden damages are suspected. However, this process should always be clearly communicated to our customers, and Im sorry that this wasnt the case in your situation.Estimate and Insurance: The estimate provided by our team is based on a thorough evaluation and the use of genuine OEM parts to ensure the highest quality of repair. The parts pricing is based on the list prices that are generated by our estimating database and are not always accurate until they are ordered from the dealer. We work closely with insurance adjusters to provide them with detailed information, but ultimately, the decision on how to proceed lies with the insurance company. We understand your frustration with the outcome and are sorry it led to such a costly situation. Please know that your feedback is being taken seriously, and we will use it to improve our service. If theres anything more we can do to address your concerns or if you'd like to discuss this matter further, please don't hesitate to reach out to us directly.

AMAZING SERVICE! K&M has gone above and beyond in customer service during this accident. **** at the front has been so patient, so informative, and so helpful on educating and answering all of our questions on how this whole process works. She has made this experience the best it could be. We have been working with a terrible insurance agency to try and get this accident handled and everyone at K&M have been so polite, well educated in their field of interest (from intake, estimate, repair, etc) and all very professional. **************** is hard to find these days but K&M is top notch and you will not find better around. Our vehicle was a total loss so I cant speak on repair work but from all the interactions we have had with them so far I will not hesitate to have all my work done in the future here. Thank you for being a stand out company who cares for their clients and community.
