We have received and reviewed the consumer complaint stating
he is not liable for this debt with us, has no contract with us, and that we
failed to validate this debt and wants his account deleted from the consumer
reporting agencies. Source Receivables Management received this account
from the creditor (********) on 07/12/2022 because they believe this account to
be valid and owed. Please be advised that Source Receivables Management was
hired by ******** to collect on this account balance, however, does not own the
debt. We mailed him out a First Notice/Validation Notice on 07/13/2022.
This notice advised the consumer that this account had been placed with our
office and provided him rights to both dispute the debt and/or request to us in
writing within 30 days, validation of the debt. This letter was mailed to the
address on file and was not returned to our office as undeliverable, therefore
we believe him to have received it. We were not sent a written request for
validation as alleged in this complaint. Be advised he is well outside of his
validation period therefore we have no legal obligation to supply anything
further. Although we have no legal obligation to supply anything further,
please see the attached validation documentation explaining the charges owed on
this account. At this time his account is believed to be valid and owed therefore

service. These terms and conditions allow ******** to send delinquent accounts
to third party agencies for collections. These terms and conditions further
state if one does not agree they are not to activate and/or use their service.
Service was activated and used therefore he agreed to these terms and
conditions. We hope we have helped resolve the consumer’s complaint. We are a

I recently checked my credit report and noticed an account with Source Receivable Mangagement reporting in which I had never opened so I sent Source Receivable Mangagement a debt validation and cease and desist letter. I then filed a FTC report. Source Receivable Mangagement has been negligent and has not responded or validated this fraudulent account or stopped the negative reporting to the consumer reporting agencies. This has caused my reputation great harm. I never signed a contract with Source Receivable Mangagement or authorized them to share my information with third parties. Source Receivable Mangagement is in violation of the 15 USC 1692g (b) because they are still reporting this negative account even though they haven't validated the debt. I have filed a complaint with the attorney's general and the CFPB

    Business Response

    Date: 09/19/2022

We have received and reviewed the consumer complaint stating
we are reporting an account she never opened and that we never responded to her
disputes, requests for validation and FTC Fraud Affidavit and she wants us to delete
this account from the consumer reporting agencies. Source Receivables

balance, however, does not own the debt. We mailed her out a First Notice/Validation

been placed with our office and provided her rights to both dispute the debt
and/or request to us in writing within 30 days, validation of the debt. This
letter was mailed to the address on file and was not returned to our office as
undeliverable, therefore we believe her to have received it. We were not sent a
written request for validation as alleged. The only correspondence we ever received
on this account was her generic dispute sent in via the consumer reporting agencies
on 01/17/2022 in which we mailed her out verification of the debt pursuant to
FDCPA on 01/18/2022. We are unsure where she sent the letters attached in her
complaint as they were never received by our office. Be advised this account is
no longer being serviced by our office therefore Ms. Lockwood will need to get
with the creditor at this point. Since this account is no longer in our office,
we have already submitted a deletion request to the consumer reporting
agencies. Be advised it may take the consumer reporting agencies 30 to 45 days

****** communication sold my account to this company. Its the second company that has a negative impact on my credit report the sum of $423.00. ****** has sold my account to 1. I.C. System, 2. Source Receivables management, and 3. Diversified Adjustment. All the collection agency hit my credit report at one time and causing my credit score to go down.

    Business Response

    Date: 09/05/2022

We have received and reviewed the consumer complaint stating
that we bought this account along with two other companies and we are all reporting
this same debt at the same time, and she wants this account to no longer be
sold and deleted from the consumer reporting agencies. The account she is
referencing was placed in our office for collections by the creditor (******)
on 04/20/2022. Source Receivables Management was hired by ****** to collect on
this account; however, Source RM does not own this debt. ****** is the original
and the current creditor. On 04/26/2022 we mailed out a validation notice to
the address on file. This validation notice had basic information about the
debt and went over her rights to dispute the debt and her timeframe to request
validation documentation in writing which was within 30 days.  Be advised we were never sent a written
request for validation. As for her allegations that we bought the debt be
advised we do not buy debt. We work on behalf of ****** and were sent this
account to collect on because ****** believes it to be valid and owed. ******
only sends accounts to one agency at a time therefore we should be the only
company collecting on this debt and reporting it as of 04/20/2022. If Ms. *****
is showing any other company reporting this debt, she must contact them as we
are not affiliated with those other agencies and since the account is in our office,
we have the right to credit report on ******’s behalf per their terms and
condition which she accepted when she activated and used their service on
11/17/2015. Please be advised that this account is believed to be valid and
owed therefore Source Receivables Management is unable to delete this account
from the consumer reporting agencies while placed with our office. We will
however report this account as disputed by consumer. Again, if any other
company is reporting this account, she must contact them as no one else should
be reporting this account except us since her account is placed with our
office. We hope we have helped resolve this consumer complaint. We are a

I called this company August 25 22, the woman I spoke to was quite rude and wanting to get the full amount that was due and wanted to know why I couldn’t do that. I told her I wanted to set up a payment plan. I said I could pay $75 per month but she said it would have to be e very 2 weeks. She also said it needed to be paid off in a year. When I told her I just could not afford that she hung up on me. So it would seem that they didn’t even want to make a payment plan for me

    Business Response

    Date: 08/26/2022

We have received and reviewed the consumer complaint stating
that our agent was rude and hung up and would not allow her to make $75.00 per
month payments and she wants us to allow her to make $75.00 per month payments. Source Receivables Management received this account from the
creditor (********) on 07/10/2022 because they believe this account to be valid
and owed. Please be advised that Source Receivables Management was hired by ********
to collect on this account balance, however, does not own the debt. We spoke
with Ms. ******** on 08/25/2022. On this call the consumer wanted to make
$75.00 per month payments. Our agent asked some questions to try to determine
eligibility for a payment plan. Ms. ******** did not want to answer these
questions and our agent explained they are standard questions to help us
understand what kind of payment plan she could afford. Ms. ******** was not
willing to pay any more than $75.00 per month. When an account reaches third
party collections it is already severely delinquent with the entire amount
being due. Source Receivables Management has no legal obligation to offer any
payment plan, but we do this to try and ease the burden. We strive to get each
account out of collections within 1 year. We offered her a monthly payment of
$216.16 which she could break up biweekly if needed. Ms. ******** would not
accept anything other than her proposed $75.00 per month.  Our compliance team pulled and reviewed the
call and did not find the agent to be rude. Our agent did terminate the call
but advised Ms. ******** she was doing so as our agent was not able to speak
towards the end of the call. Ms. ******** is free to contact our office at
877-251-3775 and speak with the collections manager Ron M***** to see if we can
offer any better payment options to help her out. We hope we have helped
resolve the consumer’s complaint. We are a professional debt collector; however,

I am rejecting this response because:

I offered to make payments every month. And it was turned down because it was not enough. I offered to pay what I could afford to pay every month. I certainly cannot afford to pay $200 a month. And I reject the thought that the agent was not rude because she absolutely was. And the reason she hung up was because I could not commit myself to be able to pay any more than $75 a month.

Acct name: SOURCE RECVB (Original Creditor: 11 ******)
acct no. ******** date opened 12/01/2021
    balance $194.00

I am not liable for this debt and I do not have a contract with:

We have received and reviewed the consumer complaint stating
that this account is not her and she wants the account deleted from the
consumer reporting agencies. Source Receivables Management
received this account from the creditor (******) on 12/15/2021. Please be
advised that Source Receivables Management was hired by ****** to collect on
this account balance, however, does not own the debt. Also be advised that this
account was placed in our office since ****** believes it to be valid and owed.
****** does not accept the FTC Fraud Affidavit and does require their own fraud
packet to be completed and returned to them. For her convenience we have
attached one to this response. ****** will require a police report and other
documentation as outlined within this packet so be sure to complete the packet
and send everything requested. Failure to do so could result in no fraud
investigation to take place by the creditor. Once ****** receives this
completed fraud packet, police report and all requested documentation they will
investigate the account for fraud. Once the investigation is concluded ******
will reach out directly to Mr. ******** with their findings. If the account is
determined to be fraud ****** will close the account and any credit reporting
done on their behalf will be deleted. In the meantime, we will continue report
this account as disputed.  We hope we
have helped resolve the consumer’s complaint. We are a professional debt
collector; however, this communication is for the sole purpose of responding to
your complaint and is NOT an attempt to collect a debt.
