Complaint Details:On August 8, 2025, I was notified by Mindpath Health that I had a credit balance/refund of $2,037.On August 12, 2025, I was told by staff that the refund had been approved by accounting.I was later given conflicting timeframes (710 days, then 30 days) and told an outside company (Onbe) would issue the refund by virtual debit card or check. On August 26, 2025, Mindpath attempted to refund $286 to two old credit card accounts I no longer have access to, even though I informed them multiple times that those accounts were closed. On August 27, 2025, Mindpath claimed the remaining $1,751 was awaiting accounting approval, which contradicts their earlier statement that everything was approved on August ******* of today, I have received none of the $2,037 refund in a usable form. Desired Resolution:I want Mindpath Health to issue my full refund of $2,037 by a method I can access (check or Onbe-issued virtual debit card).Initial Complaint

I was with Mindpath for ten years and I ran out of medication and was trying to schedule a new visit. I was told due to having ******** I could no longer be seen. I told them I needed my medication and can I have an agency that would see me. They never gave me a list were rude and didnt care about my mental health. I am so upset by the way people with managed care are treated. They started managed care so the label was off of ******** but no you wont see a metal health patient and dont care how they are. This ridiculous. Im so angry I even offered to pay out of packet but they said no we cant do that. They said I would have to cancel ******** to do this horrible right. I would like everyone to stop going there because there is people that care they dont.Initial Complaint

I received services from MindPath(Acacia telehealth at the time) a few years back. I had stopped services due to the high prices and instead of effectively helping me they would simply put me on a different medication every time we meant, making me feel like an experiment instead of a human being. In the last six months Ive been receiving nonstop calls and mail from debt collection for an amount of $209.12. I have never received direct communication from month regarding this unpaid bill before this and instead my information was seemingly immediately sent to collections. Im confused and concerned about this balance and would love some actual communication from the business regarding it.Initial Complaint

I couldnt get on their schedule for 6 months due to what the scheduler said was a shortage of providers. When I had my first encounter, they said it was just an onboarding and not a mental health visit. She subsequently scheduled me another few months out. When I had that call, they person told me THAT was an onboarding call and that they were short staffed with providers. She then gave me a name of someone else to call to schedule, which I did. I finally had that appointment with J. ******* **** and we had a partial visit but he was rushed for time and scheduled several future meetings. Mr. **** cancelled the first meeting. Apparently, Ive been billed for something. Needless to say, I really dont have confidence trusting my mental health progress to this company at this time and Im not going to pay them any money. They continue to badger and harass me with multiple emails and texts. Please send a cease and desist to this company and resolve whatever small payment their system says I owe.Regards,******* A ******Initial Complaint

Mindpath health has repeatedly filed my bills with the incorrect health insurance policy which is then denied and leaving me with the full balance. I have called over the phone and spoken online with their billing department numerous times to correct my insurance information and they continue to bill the wrong policy. I have spent way too much money on services that should be covered by my policy. After "updating" my policy again for the umpteenth time I have an appointment today and am presented with a $175 copay before I can join the Telehealth appointment. I tell the front desk secretary that I cannot afford that and she cancels my appointment adding a $50 charge to my account for "late cancellation"Initial Complaint

Another victim of the increasingly popular disincentive fee scam. I see that Mindpath Health is notorious for $60 "no-show" fees. This includes being more than 10 minutes late to appointments, virtual or in-person. I have been a patient of Mindpath since they took over Community Psych. In over five years I have only cancelled/rescheduled twice and have never been late to an appointment until a few months back. The runaround the company gives you when you try to contest it is maddening. I believe Mindpath Health should be investigated.Initial Complaint

I have a child who has been attending Mindpath Health since June 2024. I have a new insurance provider and recently received a bill for $530.00. I found this odd since visits are approximately ***** minutes. I had failed to notice the full amount prior to this year because insurance paid for the majority of the bill. The $530 is the out of pocket pay for the visit. Being a provider myself, I'm well aware of the cost and billing for psychiatry and psychotherapy appointments. My child only receives medication services. This company is fraudulently billing over the visit appointment time and adding additional services that were not rendered. They are fraudulently billing costumers and insurance providers for both medication services and psychotherapy with an added 15 minute block of time. Providers are well aware and trained to only bill for services rendered with accurate time representation.Initial Complaint

Mind path wanted to send me to collections in April of 2023. They kept saying I owed them money but when I would pull up receipts from InstaMed they would come back and say that I owed them co-pays from further back than that. After that they continued to bill my son every month even though he wasn't a patient any longer. Finally in May of 2024 my son started getting bills stating that he owed 20 dollars for a copay again. Again I would pull up a receipt and they would state as before that it was for a copay dated farther back than that. So in August of 2024 he also got a letter stating that he would be sent to collections.Initial Complaint

I have been seeing *********************, PMHNP almost monthly since 06/07/2023 for management of anxiety. On 7/11/2024 I sent a message through my patient portal with a mental health questionnaire to be filled out. This form was for future employment with the ***** I had an apt on 7/15/24 with him to discuss. I explained my intended start date if hired was 8/12/24. He agreed to filling out the form and said he would have it back to me by 7/19. He did not. I followed up via my portal and heard back on 7/23/24. He reported that the form was completed. We discovered his supervising physician would need to sign so he sent it to him. I pushed back my start date. After not hearing anything back I reached out and he responded 08/06 to let me know he would not be sending in the form due to believing it was a functional capacity evaluation which he is not trained to do. I explain it is not. As stated on the form it is just a questionnaire. It's not even a clearance form. Also stated on the form. I remind him of the number provided on the form for providers should they have questions. He refused to call or fill out the form. This was all through my patient portal where the messages still are and can be reviewed fo confirm. He offered to write a summary of my diagnosis. But this will not suffice as the **** requires the questionnaire filled out. This has once again delayed from being able to start this job and may cost me the opportunity. He sat on the form for a month and told me he was filling it out. As someone who works on Healthcare I am appalled.Business Response
