Purchase Refrigerator 09/28/2022. Manufacturer warranty is STILL valid until 09/28/2023. Refrigerator's Fan OR Compressor is malfunctioning as ALL food in refrigerator has spoiled, I called on 08/25/2023 to places initial service call. Called again on 09/05/2023 spoke to **************** Rep ******** he told me my call was automatically REJECTED on 08/25/2023 by Service Technician ***, and went on to say *** couldn't find someone to service my product. He then 'claimed' he would escalated my call. Called twice on 09/07/2023 and spoke with ******* then '*****' both reps gave me the SAME answer that they would escalate my call. Had a detailed chat session beginning at 8:07am. Around 12:07pm I was told someone would get back to me in ***** business hours. NO ONE from the SERVICE department has contacted me by phone, email, text or chat to schedule an appointment to even come look at their product which is STILL under warranty. At one point the 'Chat Bot' gave me the INCORRECT phone number to their Corporate Head Quarters, I called the number provided ************** AND the phone rang 5x then automatically disconnected my call.NO ONE from the SERVICE department has contacted me by phone, email, text or chat to schedule an appointment to even come look at their product which is STILL under warranty.Business Response

I purchased a refrigerator Model No. GRFS2853AF3 from a local store and approximately three months after purchase the unit stopped working. We scheduled a service call which took about two weeks for *************** to arrive, after examining the unit he ordered a new compressor and scheduled the repair work for two weeks from then. (September 5th 2023) Once the repair date came a new compression fitting was installed and the ordered part was not installed. Three days after the repair the unit failed again. I have lost about three hundred dollars in meat and groceries and had to purchase a small replacement refrigerator at the cost of six hundred dollars in order to have fresh food and milk in the house. I have an 89 year old and a two year old that need access to refrigeration.When I called to try and get a faster resolution I was not escalated to a manager as I requested and told I would have an expedited repair and compensation, none of which happened. After waiting one month for the attempted repair I feel this unit should be replaced or refunded. I feel another extended repair cycle is not fair to me or my family members. The store price for this unit was $2049.00.Business Response

I continue to have nothing but problems with our Electrolux fridge and freezer and Im having to fight with the company to get it fixed. First the fridge starts freezing up and causes the water filter to explode flooding my kitchen and ruining all our food and my new cabinets.Then the freeze wont cool because a seal is bad. Then its frosting up because a part is bad. Then the fridge starts putting itself in demo mode randomly which makes it go off for several hours resulting in most of our food getting ruined again and again. Called service each time. Electrolux sends a man named **** out each time with one exception we got a local 3rd party. But the Jake ****** was rude, condescending, argumentative and hateful. And lastly lacked the knowledge or ability to fix the issue. Said and I quote nothing wrong, checks out fine, Im done here. Like I have a dorm fridge sitting in my kitchen full of food Im trying to save, because Its super convenient and fun to have another fridge setting in the way. The way this man conducts himself demonstrates an inability to be dispatched into the publics homes. He belongs in a shop not facing customers. Or he needs to seek new employment. So much to unpack but just terrible service.This is absolutely unacceptable and crazy to spend this kind of money for what I think is a lemon. Ive purchased likely over 250 Frigidaire and GE appliances (own and manage apartment buildings 300+ units) over the years and I can honestly say, Ive never had this kind of trouble with the more economy level versions. Its just these fancier ones I bought for my own home that are failures. Id really appreciate a response and resolution thats reasonable based on everything that weve gone through to this point.I do have to say the third-party service provider ******** quality service did take care of us and submitted the freezer for an exchange credit so that we can at least try to buy another one maybe without the issues. Refrigerator purchase date is September 11, 2018. I am filing this complaint on behalf of my mother who just got released from a nursing facility last month. I called Frigidaire to schedule an appointment because it was not getting cold as it should and I am having ice build ** in the freezer. They set up an appointment for someone to come out a month later. When the time came no one called or arrived. I called Frigidaire back to let them know what happened and they told me to give it 3 days and someone will call me. 5 days later still no one arrived or called me. I had to call them again and let them know that I need my refrigerator fixed or replaced. I told told that since I've waited so long that I would be placed on high priority and I will get a call within 3 days. They also told me that there is no one in my area that will come out and that is why I did not hear from them. STILL, no call and no show. I called once more and asked to speak to a supervisor and I was told that a supervisor will tell me the same thing as they are telling me. I said "OK, can I speak to a supervisor still". I spoke to a supervisor after being placed on hold for a long time and he SPECIFICALLY told me that he will do a rush on this and I will get a call within 1-2 days. I also told him that I feel like I should be *********** some type of compensation for the massive lost of food and he said that I can call back and they will see what they can do since I've waited so long and I lost money. My mom is home bound and have no more money to feed herself and I am an insulin dependent diabetic and we BOTH need a refrigerator and I do not know WHAT to do right now. I am in between a rock and a hard place. Right now what I want is a new refrigerator and some type of compensation for the food lost even if it is $100 because this is not my mom's fault and NEVER had I had an issue with any other company as far as warranties and repairs. NEVER AGAIN will I purchase ANY Frigidaire product.Business Response

Unfortunately, I am having difficulty finding any corporate office contact information so I am hopeful that you can push this up the chain of command.My husband and I purchased a new Frigidaire Gallery that was delivered to our home on August 5th, 2023. On August 12th I made a call to the warranty center about the refrigerator not producing cold water. On Aug 23rd a repair technician from AE factory service found that we were in need of a new water valve inside of the refrigerator. He ordered parts with a scheduled return date of Aug 30th. On August 24th I got up that morning to discover that my control panel on the front of the refrigerator was locked and showing a power outage ( while the refrigerator was attempting to run.) I again called the ******** center to seek assistance. They had me unplug the unit for 5 minutes, then 15 minutes to try to get the panel to reset itself. It did not work. ( just an FYI there was no power outage that day.) It remained non functioning for most of the day. By approximately 4pm I tried again to unplug the unit. It finally did reset. However, the warranty folks decided to order a new computer board to be installed on the 30th along with the water problem.On August 30 all the parts had arrived and were in my possession. However no repair technician ever showed up. I again called the warranty center and discussed my unequivocal displeasure at their lack of concern for my self as a consumer of their goods and services. I ended up being late for work as a result of their failure to resolve this issue. I got to hear the buzzword escalation team and spoke with supervisor ******************. We scheduled a new appointment with the technician (via your warranty folks..) for September 5th. You can use your imagination, you can guess, but I will make it easy for you. No technician showed up again!! Now sir I am angry and beyond belief that any of this is acceptable. Please be advised that I will further be contacting our attorney General in the state of NY. I will also be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau. I have done my due diligence by contacting the warranty company that represents your products. The serial number for the refrigerator is 4A32605610 . Model GRSS2652AF3. What is Frigidaire going to do about this?? I have been forced to schedule yet another appointment with repair technician for September 13th. I don't know than any of this works for me. I don't want to be 2 months from now and have the potential to have to deal with more lies, more, escalation, more failed appointment, I want you to take responsibility for your products and services. I am rejecting this response because:, changing the non functioning parts on the refrigerator dies nor help me with the condensation problem on the back of my refrigerator. Getting those parts will not resolve the condensation on the back of the refrigerator. Attempts were made by A&E to reach out to the warranty company,. He was on hold for 35 minutes. Once someone finally picked up, the call dropped and no one called him back. Continuing down this path of constant visits from A&E as well as communicating with Electrolux about my complaints is fruitless. There has not been a single effort on your part to satisfy me as a consumer. You are simply ignoring the reality of my continued complaints and refuse to acknowledge your responsibility in this matter. I unequivocally want a refund and do not wish to continue this never ending flow of parts coming to me that has failed to resolve a single issue thus far.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
I have requested on numerous occasions for a full refund.why would I accept a replacement that is very likely to produce the same complaints from me? The total amount of expenditures is $1450.44 . I would much prefer to select a different brand than have to continue to fight with Electrolux about my pure disappointment in their product. It is not unreasonable for me to expect them to reimburse me for their failed appliance. Please consider how I feel as a consumer. I didn't ever lie to you about my complaints. Your warranty folks lied on several occasions when they set up appointments that never happened. I would not have any results if not for my own efforts.Initial Complaint

Refrigerator broke while under warranty in June 2023. Frigidaire has attempted to fix it twice without any success. The same issue persists: it does not cool. Frigidaire been to our house on 5 separate occasions and still refuses to replace the refrigerator and deem it unrepairable. Demands we have more attempts to fix it but fails to send anyone out for further inspection or repairs. Has confirmed service appointments on two separate dates (9/6 and 9/7) and then failed to send repair person on the confirmed dates. Every phone call leads to a new date. Now the next available appointment date is weeks out but no guarantee that anyone will show up. We have now been without a working refrigerator for over 2 months.Business Response

Be aware of Electrolux. It is not standing behind the new clothes dryer I purchased, being Electrolux's top of the line dryer. I paid the full price on 24 Aug 23 and it was delivered on 26 Aug 23 "dead on arrival" in that it makes a loud banging noise when started. It has never been used. Electrolux refuses to provide a replacement functioning dryer. On the day of delivery I advised the retailer and filed its requested Returns and Exchanges form demanding a replacement dryer, which I had fully expected to receive within a few days.The appliance repair technician Electrolux sent to see the dryer confirmed it had never been used, was non-functioning and could not be used until repaired. He dismantled the dryer, partially rebuilt it, dismantled it again and was unable to find the cause of the problem and as he was putting it back together to leave he all of a sudden said it was some part that was clearly not broken or bent and that he had handled several times while dismantling and rebuilding the dryer while seeing nothing wrong with the part.Electrolux refuses to provide me with a replacement functioning dryer. Instead they are insisting, that it be repaired. Given the many complaints I have read, I fully expect that will not work out well for me.The result is that on my first use it will be a repaired dryer. I paid for a new fully functioning dryer and that is what was to have been delivered to me. Electrolux has no right or excuse for not delivering what I paid for. I demand receipt of the new fully functional dryer I purchased, not a repaired dryer.Also, Electrolux has only a general number for service matters and a different person answers each time. They will not provide contact information and while they offer to look into it they never call back with advice or issue the Return Authorization required to get a replacement dryer. They seem to intentionally make it as difficult as possible.Business Response

I have a Frigidaire Top Loading washer that is still under a Service Warranty, Serial Number **********, Model **********. I have called ************** at least 15 times since July trying to get someone to come out and fix my washer. It is making noises that sound like the transmission, motor, or ball bearings are dying on it. The clothes will go to one side during the wash cycle and you have to stop the machine and reposition the clothes and also the water now will not stop running in the washer; it is running constantly so we have to turn the water off at the back of the washer.Every time I call, I am told that they will have someone come out to fix it or replace it and no one has done this yet. I am also told that it would be in 2 - 3 business days before someone would contact me and I never get that call. Going on over 2 months is getting ridiculous. Now I am without a washer and out many hundreds of dollars for the washer as well as the service contract that we purchased with the washer. I need a new washer now! I am 79 years old and my wife is 76, we cannot keep going to the laundromat, lugging clothes around when I should have a perfectly good washing machine. This is a disgrace that a service warranty only guarantees a phone call to *************** and nothing more. I want something done today! I would hate to get my attorney involved in order for this company to fulfill it's obligations under the service contract and service warranty agreements, but I will if I have to.Business Response
