Immediately after putting iny contact information I was inundated with spam call, texts and email. Over 400 in 24 hours. I would avoid this company and go with a legitimate lender. Selling your information is where they get their money.

Do not even go on their website. 5 mins after i inquired about a personal loan loan wo giving them any information, i received an email saying i was denied a loan i never applied for! This is highly unethical. I was also spammed with calls.

Absolutely terrible experience. LendingTree does nothing but collect and sell your personal information to endless lenders, bombarding you with non-stop calls and emails. I never actually got a useful loan offerjust a flood of spam and sketchy solicitations. Feels like a complete scam. Avoid at all costs!

Absolutely horrible. Its just a company that gets all of your information and makes you think youre gonna get rates but you never do. Theythen turn around and sell all of your information to every lender they can. Be prepared to have your entire world blown up with massive amountsof calls, emails and text messages from every single company that they sell it to

About two months ago, I got a loan approval letter from a **** ****** of Lending Tree. I was sent the amount $1200 to my bank account which was I was instructed to send back in ************. This triggered my bank to shut down this account and open another one. Then I was instructed to send them gift cards to complete the transaction totaling $860. Then telling me the amount of $460 was a mistake but told me I needed to send them another $230. So, I asked for a refund. I am still waiting. If you need proof of these transaction, I can provide them.

Someone else used my email address on Lending Tree on a Saturday. I didn't check my email until Monday and saw a slew of emails that came in. However, the email from Lending Tree on saturday to "Confirm my email address" was never opened and I never confirmed it since it was not me. I immediately reported it to Lending Tree, but I still am getting emails about it from lenders. Why is there a confirm email sent out if Lending Tree is going to share the email out regardless? Worst of all, the email address used is not one I share out to websites so I don't get spam, but now I do.

I have been contacted by multiple potential lenders for a HELOC request, which I expected. However, one of these lenders has made threatening texts saying things like When this came to my desk, It has not only your date of birth, but your social And then when I politely said Im no longer interested again he texted you put your date of birth and social online. Thats very personal info just to tell me no thank you. Why is Lending Tree working with someone like this, and if they actually do send all of the personal and sensitive information required in the initial request this should be outlawed until a call is made directly by the lender to the client, and an agreement is reached to proceed. Now I have to worry that some desperate person will use my information nefariously in retaliation for not getting my business! Will never use them again and would recommend the same for anyone considering.

Beware, seniors. We got 76 calls in the three days it took Lending Tree to stop them. They were all marked 'spam' and exactly two left voicemails. Why, you may wonder, is the eastern half of the US interested in a small home equity loan in ************? Well, we're old, we have excellent credit and our home is paid off. In short, we are perfect marks for identity thieves and title thieves. The information you provide for a loan is all either needs to do their work. I'd like to think that Lending Tree screens the folks who buy names from it rather than put a target on seniors' back. But does it?

Made the mistake of giving them my info when looking for a loan. Over 40 phone calls in 4 days. I've never been harassed like this by anyone. They say it takes 3 days to process you request for them to stop calling. NEVER GIVE THEM YOUR INFO!
