      We ordered a bay window through Menards on May 6 and still havent received our window. The order date keeps moving forward like we have just ordered the window. I have called customer service twice. The second time I talked to someone who seemed to want to help. The eta on my window was shorter but that time has come and gone and still no window. I feel that we are being jerked around and that when we finally do get this window it will be damaged or something else.

      I purchase an exterior primed fiberglass front door Within less than 5 months the product was not holding up to the elements of the coast. The door was painted with the suggested paint and it always got stuck and the hardware of it was pure junk. The quality is so poor even the hardware. Didnt even last a year. I purchased at Home ***** in **************, they have denied any responsibility Of the warranty. I also purchased two other fiberglass exterior doors for the same new house and they were a generic brand and paid way less those doors have not given me any issues whatsoever. Sadly why pay the more for junk when a cheaper brand performs better

      I have been waiting for windows to arrive at the specific date they provided. Although every day since that date, they come up with excuses why the windows were not delivered. We followed up with them every day and their answer was tomorrow its gonna be delivered because the truck broke or got into an accident. This business is definitely not honest theyre straight up, lying to their customers. I will never recommend anyone get Windows from them.

      ******** company to work with. Their customer service is unprofessional and extremely rude no compassion whats so ever with customers. I ordered a door and it took close to 3 months for them to deliver. They rescheduled my delivery several times due to and issue with their production plant and that caused me to have to reschedule several times my installation. Their compensation for late PO's is ****** and that is not ok after everything that a customer has to go through. I do not recommend this company so sad.

      Dealing with Jeld-Wen customer service was very easy. Issue we had was with our 4 french doors, the blinds between the glass had broke, and the seals had gone bad on six out of eight windows, the doors are 5 years old. We live on the beach witch is a very harsh climate on windows and doors. Since Jeld-Wen had changed the design of these glass inserts for the doors they went ahead and sent us eight new inserts. Parts were covered not labor. Was able to install the new insets myself not very difficult at all. Took around 30 days to receive new inserts. Jeld-Wen customer service constantly stayed in contact with us letting us know every step of the process. Was very surprised. Thank You.

      I will never again purchase Jeld-Wen windows. We have serious leaking issues on multiple windows that are around 5 years old. The craftsmanship is poor and the customer service is non- existent. I assume their warranty department is overloaded as we cannot even get a response.

      A warranty request was received from this consumer last year. An email was sent to the consumer requesting additional information to establish the warranty claim, but no response was received, and the claim was closed. JELD-WEN takes your product/service concerns very seriously. We recommend the consumer call our Customer Experience Team at ************ (M-F, 7:30am 4:00pm CST) to establish a new warranty claim.       I ordered custom prehung doors from Jeld-Wen through Home Depot on August 28, 2024, and they were installed in November 2024. Unfortunately, the door was of poor quality—it was split at the top and bottom. They ordered a replacement part and installed a new door on January 7, 2025, but this door had marks, improperly cut handle holes, and poorly fitted hinge caps. The doors were sent back for replacement again, with an expected arrival of February 13, 2025, yet I have received no further updates.
      When I contacted Jeld-Wen, the representative, Amber, was unhelpful and rude. Every time I asked questions, her response was “I don’t know, I don’t work in that department.” When I requested to speak with a manager or get a supervisor’s contact information, I was told the manager was in a meeting and that no direct number was available. After insisting on speaking to someone who could help, she eventually hung up on me.
      I would not recommend Jeld-Wen to anyone. Their incompetence and poor customer service have been incredibly frustrating, and I will never order from them again. I cannot give them a star for their service. I am still waiting to know when my replacement order will arrive.

      Jeld-wen manufacturer is very incompetent I ordered 5 prehung-doors in June of 2024 . At ********** and I finally got them installed in January of 2025. They made many mistakes and they still are not good quality. the doors had marks on them, the handle holes were not cut to fit the k**** there are caps around the hinges and thy were not made to fit the opening. I would not recommend them to anyone and I will not ordered anything from them. I would not give them a star for their incompetence but I had to . It took over 3 to 4 weeks each time I had to have ********** send the doors back just to find another mistake **** R

      Low quality, does not stand by product. We ordered three large picture windows ($500+ each plus installation) through Lowes for a home addition, installed correctly by a professional builder. The first cracked within a year. Jeld-Wen sent a *** who diagnosed it as a manufacturing error and sent a replacement window, but did not cover the cost of installation. The replacement was actually different, and we learned was the correct type for our climate. The second cracked in the exact same place a few months later. Jeld-Wen refused to help, stating it was outside the warranty. When emphasizing it was a documented manufacturing error, the call center *** just ***eated the scripted response. After several calls to the Lowes in ********** where purchased, no one from Lowes or their Jeld-Wen *** ever called back as promised. We then brought in an independent window contractor who could see that the vinyl window frame was too tight on the glass along with being the wrong type for our climate. He confirmed that the installation was correct and said there are consumer protection laws that Jeld-Wen was ignoring. We will never buy from Jeld-Wen or through Lowes again. Buyer beware.
