      So today I found out when you return an item over 30 days late the return center decides on the amount of refund. The policy states that it should be the lowest sale price of item; however Belk is not able to provide evidence of lowest price and told me they cant provide it because the return center determines the amount of the refund. Shouldnt the return amount be the same. I matter which store I returned it to? Make it make sense.

      October 21, 2025 my daughter and I shopped at Belk, REMOVED, REMOVED. While in the fitting room, a male employee came in to check for clothes and trash, although he could clearly see me sitting at the entrance to the fitting room. He took down the clip board off the wall beside a large full length mirror that was beside my chair. My daughter was in the fitting room straight across from this mirror with her door open showing me the clothes she was trying on. She had stepped back from the doorway when she saw him, but when he looked in the mirror he made eye contact with her anyway and stared at her while she stood in the fitting room. He signed the REMOVEDand left. When we approached the checkout he waved to me, smiled, said hi, said Im so sorry the hand sanitizer stinks. I said that doesnt bother me near as bad as you coming in to the womens fitting room (being a man). He immediately said the fitting rooms are unisex and he works there and hes allowed in there any time he wants. I asked what his job was and he said to check the clothes and the trash. I said well you didnt do either of those things. You came in with me sitting in plain site, signed the clipboard and looked at my daughter by way of the mirror at her in the fitting room. He said he couldnt do his job because there were other people back in there. I told him the fitting rooms are in the womens REMOVEDand NOT marked UNISEX!!! I am not happy with Belk or this employee. Thank you, REMOVED

      Terrible terrible customer service. $121 items in order and what I received was an empty box from belk returns centers. I received none of them. Tried claims process 3 times and it doesnt work. Emailed customer service and called customer service and all they tell me to do is use the online claim filing which doesnt work. I did not misplace my box. I was at home when it arrived at my front door and surprised to see I had received an empty box.

      I shop at Belks whenever I am in REMOVED. It is my favorite clothing store. Everything I go I find more than I was looking to purchase. This time was a little different. Even better, while I was checking out the great selection I was approached by a clerk who offered assistance. She was not pushy just went out of her way to be helpful. She took an item and looked up price then brought it back while I continued to shop. Although I forgot her name, she was from REMOVEDand her asso#REMOVED. She was professional and personable. Made our shopping trip much better. My 2 friends and I were quite impressed with her. She is an asset to your company. This was the Surfside store. The store clean, welcoming and has a wonderful selection. Look forward to returning. Thanks from a satisfied customer from REMOVED. P.S. I always receive compliments on my purchased outfits when I return up north. Wish we had a Belks but I guess I can wait for my visit back to REMOVED.

      I went into the store to ask about a product I purchased the day before. I was supposed to receive a bag and other sample items with my purchase. When I asked her about it she became irritated with me so I asked another employee if I was supposed to get the free items and she said yes and went to go get them and the lady came looking for me and she called me a coward and a b*tch she accused me of coming in everyday asking for free samples when I havent been to belks in months.i went to the store manger and he seemed very nonchalant about the situation he didnt even offer me an apology.       Worst customer service, purchased shoes for trip out of town which did not fit, tried to return was told past 30 days and would refund 1/2 of purchase price. Been a customer over 30 yrs and very disappointed in the lack of customer care. I can understand why they have such low reviews.

      I wish I had come to BBB before making a $200 order for two shirts. They sent one shirt that was the wrong color and one that was fine. I sent back the one that was the wrong color the same day. After numerous emails and phone calls, they told me today that they were not refunding because the shirt had been sent without tags and worn. That was of course not true; I literally requested a refund a few minutes after I opened the bag to discover the bait and switch. They did not offer to send the shirt I had paid for back. The other shirt, which looked fine, went immediately to the cleaners before I wore it. The fabric had been so compromised, or the shirt was defective, and it revealed a hole under the collar without ever having been worn. I asked Belk to exchange it and explained what had happened. They agreed to that. I called up today, and they said that the case had been suspended for both items. That is to say, after okaying a refund and an exchange, Belk kept my money and the shirts. And they will probably try to resell them and do the same thing to others. I learned a REMOVEDto buy direct from the designer or from the top department stores and not venture out. Too many scams out there. This one takes the cake. The irony is that even as they conducted their racket to its bitter end, they were very polite with me.

      REMOVEDis horrible. I have never had a store I purchased items online from with such horrible customer service representatives. Aside from the fact they cant fully understand English (yes of course they arent in the REMOVED) they lack any comprehension of how to do their job. After receiving two returns on the 24 and 26th of last month I received a mails stating my refund will be processed within 7 business days. I am still waiting. I purchase stuff a lot online, id say a few times a week and I have never waited this long for a refund before. REMOVEDis useless and cant even give an answer on when it will be processed nor do they understand what 7 business days is. I can only assume the reason Belk is still in business is due to not returning customers money and using that to keep functioning. I will be filing disputes with my bank today. Im sick of Belk thinking its ok to take as long as they REMOVEDwell please to issue a refund for items that were received back 2 weeks ago.

      Belks process of shipping should be updated and met to a standard that makes a shopper want to shop with the company in the future. I ordered a blush colored flower satin heel which was what the internet showed was available on the website. When I received my confirmation email of shipping, the image was updated to a totally different color of the shoe. I called customer care and explained to the REMOVEDthat the email image doesnt match what I ordered. She confirmed that I would receive the blush colored shoe that I ordered. When I received the package, my my my, opened the box and there goes a creame colored shoe which I never selected and is what was shown on the confirmation email. I am unhappy with the entire order not to mention the other items included in the shipment were delivered at the incorrect address. Had to file a claim on lost package. I believe that communication is broken and systems dont connect to each other with the ordering process, inventory available and whats being sent out. Plus, whoever is in charge of these processes need to take a better look at all the reviews and complaints to fix whats broken; the issue is still at hand. The company went out the easy way by offering a refund vs taking time to research why we have another unhappy customer. I searched their website because I was looking for a pretty heel to wear to church. I give the process a ZERO score.

      Ordered nearly REMOVEDworth of clothes, the clothes were thrown in a box loose and shipped. The box was torn and a suit jacket was missing, I have spoken with customer service 4 different times and still nothing has been done.
