  We used Sherpa twice, a roundtrip delivery of my son's vehicle from the west to the east coast (and back). It was flawless! We shopped around and Sherpa had the best price. No surprises ever, which we appreciated. Communication was great and the transportation of our car was efficient and arrived ahead of schedule (with our approval of course) - thank you Sherpa!

  It is not always the good ratings that make a good company. Sometimes those reviews are misleading, and companies use them to charm customers. My experience with ********************** proves otherwise.I hired Sherpa Auto Transport to move my 2024 ****** Highlander from ********* to *******. I trusted their positive reviews, but my experience was a nightmare from start to finish.Unprofessional and rude management: The manager assigned to me insulted me and even cursed at me when I asked for updates. This is completely unacceptable.Vehicle delivered damaged and dirty: My car arrived extremely dirty, with scratches on the body and wheels scraped on the sides.Police involvement: The driver even refused to return my keys until I was forced to call the police. No customer should ever go through that.False promises: After I escalated the issue, a senior manager called me. He admitted his colleagues bad behavior and promised Sherpa would pay for the paint and repairs. But later he told me the carrier denied my claim and said he would send me the insurance information. I never received anything until I kept sending multiple follow-ups.Ignored and delayed responses: After many emails, an agent finally responded with the insurance certificate of the carrier (G&D Car Carrier / ****************** They also told me Sherpa cannot file the claim on my behalf even though my contract was with Sherpa, not the carrier. They left me to fight with the carriers insurance on my own.Complete runaround: I recorded videos, collected photos, obtained a professional $12,000+ repair estimate, and sent everything to Sherpa. Instead of taking responsibility, they delayed, avoided, and pushed the burden onto me.?? Customers need to know: ********************** hides behind good reviews, but when problems happen, they leave you stranded. I will never use Sherpa again and strongly advise others to think twice before trusting the polished ratings they promote.

  Easy to do business with. No issues. Everything was on time or a day early. A friend who is a trucker recommended them. Good choice. One addition they may make is a tracking service on their web site. Thanks

  It was difficult for me to find an auto transport company that I could trust. I looked through BBB and read complaints from different companies. Sherpa by far had the least complaints that were regarding money and the driver asking for more money upon delivery. I also chose them because their response to the complaints were professional, and customer service centered. I called and spoke with ******** who explained that Sherpa has a good relationship with their drivers. They have a PRICE LOCK, no unexpected price increases at the last minute. Sherpa found me a driver quickly. The driver ****** with Umbrella Auto Transport texted me and kept smooth communication throughout the process. They delivered the car a day early, with my consent. I was going to have to ***** my son the money, he would have to find a ride to go get the cash out, but instead they made it even easier allowing me to pay with ***** directly to them upon delivery. The car was in perfect condition. I would definitely use Sherpa again and refer them to anyone needing to ship a vehicle. Thank you! Trusted for Life.

  Everyone I spoke with at Sherpa were great! ***** was wonderful to work with. My cat got across country with no issues. I would definitely use Sherpa again

  No complains. We were a little scared as we were shpping a 2-months old ***** Civis but all went well. ***, the driver, was very communicative and easy to deal with. I recommed Sherpa and would use their service again if I need them *****

  used Sherpa Auto Transport to ship a car on July 31 On the surface, the service seemed fine, but when the car was delivered, I found a personal item that was in the trunk was missing. I immediately contacted the company, and an employee named **** replied that the carrier was looking into the matter. However, they soon replied by providing a contract clause that stated they are not responsible for items lost inside the vehicle. While I understand there's a liability waiver in the contract, I believe a professional transport company has a responsibility to ensure the basic security of a customer's property. I'm very disappointed with this experience, especially with how they handled the issue. My problem remains unresolved, and I have not received any compensation or explanation. I hope in the future they will improve their service and take responsibility for their customers.
