I ordered the free book plus shipping and added the trial membership for access to the private ******** support group; because, the information given on the drlivingood website implied members could ask the doctor questions, no restrictions mentioned. Upon reviewing the rules for the ******** group prior to joining, I found a disclaimer stating the doctor will not answer medical questions.I went back to the website to cancel my membership to avoid recurring monthly membership charges after the trial. The cancellation page malfunctions by sending the user in a continual loop that never opens up to the cancellation page. I opened a chat in the website that was fielded by a chatbot which only restated the *** answer with instructions on how to cancel membership; which, are useless if the cancellation page is unreachable.I wrote to customer service explaining everything mentioned above. The customer service rep advised me she had cancelled my membership; then, proceeded to share unsolicited personal information about her own health in an attempt to make me feel as though she knows what I am going through with barriers to medical care. I responded telling her I did not appreciate this and detailed why. What followed was insane! I received a personal email from an Otaku on a mission to educate 'Karens' who are in denial that they are 'Karens'. This person informed me the customer service rep mentioned above was actually the doctor of this company impersonating a customer service rep and that I have no idea what I'm talking about with regards to my own health and experiences! If the doctor can impersonate a customer service rep, I will assume the other principal of this company, the doctor's ***** was impersonating the Otaku. What kind of mentally ill business practice is this that a business goes on a personal attack of a customer simply because the customer informed them their website coding has a bug and they will pass on the ******** group support?

This customer reached out to our support team about this issue and received a response yesterday.  I will reiterate here what she was told.

She had a trial membership with us, which was canceled per her request since she was not satisfied with the purchase or the parameters of our ability to help answer health questions. The customer support agent who helped her was doing her best to sympathize with the customer's concerns about her previous experience with those in the medical field.  She was in no way insensitive or trying to insult the customer.

We hire professional agents who are kind, sympathetic, and do their best to help. We have no reason to think the agent has given out the personal information of any of our customers as this has never happened before in the history of our company.

It is especially unlikely that an agent would have someone else contact the customer for the sole purpose of insulting her.  That is out of character for any of our agents, and the customer has no solid evidence that the email about "Karens" was from anyone in any way related to our company.

I disrespect abusive manipulative Doctors.I am angrier at myself for being a Sucker. Like they say, as the new famous quote goes by me "There is no such thing as a free book."It takes half a second to take my money and over five to ten days to get it back. It happened so fast that I did not have a chance to know what happened... Better call ****. This customer went through our sales page where we explain that the book is free, but we do ask the customer to cover the cost of shipping.  He also opted to include a $19 digital course, and $117 Annual Lifestyle Membership.  Neither of those options are required or automatically added to the cart.  The customer has to check a box in order for those items to be added to the order and charged.

This customer also reached out to our support team on the same day they were charged, and our team canceled and refunded their order per his request within two hours of him placing the order.
