              I canceled my membership with this business nearly 1 1/2 years ago and they continue to charge the card on file. When attempting to contact them the email address was no longer valid which it was last year. However, once I finally reached someone by phone I was told that email address hadn’t been valid in several years. I was also told on, 8/26/22, by phone I would receive a refund for the mistaken charge but I have not yet received it. I have tried reaching back out to the business but no one will take or return my call. What this “organization” is doing is giving veterans a bad name and shouldn’t be allowed to continue to operate in this manner. If the only success here is forcing them to adhere by the rules and treat customers with respect then I will call that a win.

              This group also seems to be a fraudulent organization that just wants to play on our respect for veterans. I get calls from them constantly - at least weekly. I have told them I already support a veterans organization monthly and don't have the income to add another veterans group. I ask them to take me off the calling list. I get chided by the caller saying "don't I respect veterans" or "don't you like our veterans". It is one thing to want to discuss what they do and try to convince you to donate - but it is another when they want to argue with you because you say no. I even suggested they get on the Charity Navigator site which might encourage people to donate. This way they at least validate they are a real organization. At this point I think they are scammers.
