I purchased a certified pre-owned 2020 Ford Explorer from Ed Morse Ford St Robert on March 24, 2023. Since my purchase, I have had two concerns, the first is that I have had to return multiple times to replace or repair parts which were certified in writing to me as having passed inspection at the time of sale. This includes returning within days of purchase for a new set of wiper blades and twice in May 2023 to have the under body cover re-secured to the underside of the vehicle. Again I returned in August to have the rear differential entirely replaced due to damage from lack of differential fluid, which I was told is likely how the vehicle came from the factory after receiving documentation from the dealership certifying that the differential was in good working condition and fluid levels were appropriate. My second is that I had an oil change with Ed Morse Ford St Robert on August 14, 2023. I was hearing a ticking noise and took the car to another mechanic on November 7, 2023. They determined that the engine oil level in my car was 1.5-2qts too low without evidence of leaks or consumption and that based on the color of the oil, it had not been changed in some time. They also provided me with the engine air filter and cabin air filter both of which I had paid to have replaced at my August oil change. I notified the business via certified mail with a return receipt on 11/13 and requested a response by 11/22. I have received neither a response nor my return receipt from the business and would appreciate any assistance in resolving this matter.
