    I bought a audiobook from audiobookstore.com after searching everywhere online for this book they promoted that they had the book and that I could buy it for 9.99 $. They gave some information that wasnt very clear after the purchase, saying the only way to listen to the book was through the app. So I downloaded the app, but inside the app the purchase of my book was not there. My book is nowhere to be found, it doesnt look like they actually have this particular book AND now they are charging me monthly for a subscription I NEVER agreed to or was informed of when paying for the book. I sent them an email complaint in March and no reply.

    Audiobooks disguises itself to look like audible and appears first in SEO when searching "audible." It does not feature the ability to cancel an order.

    I purchased an audiobook from Audiobookstore.com in October. In July, I noticed a recurring charge of $9.95 on my credit card on the 6th of each month since the initial purchase. I was unaware that I had purchased some type of "flexpass" and that it would be a recurring charge, and I never purchased another audiobook during this period. From October until July, I was charged for a service I did not use. When I canceled my account, I had no access to any other books.

    I purchased 4 books from them in 2022 and canceled my subscription at the end of the year. They are still charging my credit card 18 months later. I've attempted to cancel on line and there is no option to do that and I've also attempted to remove my credit card and there is no way to do that either. I've had to request a new credit card number and they are somehow still making charges. I have sent emails and left several phone messages without any response. This site is clearly a scam and should be shut down for this type of activity.

    Thank you for reaching out to me. The company refunded the disputed fees to my bank account after you contacted the company. I discovered this last week when I looked at my bank statement. I'm grateful for the BBB and all you do. a subscription program and that if I did not receive a refund, I would submit complaints to BBB and to the ************************* of the state in which the business was headquartered. I emailed the seller on the same date asking for a refund. I emailed the seller again on 2/23/2024. I have never received any responses to my call or emails. On 2/24/2024, I called my bank and submitted a dispute for the two unauthorized credit card charges in January and February.

    I received a gift certificate for AudiobooksSTORE.com. they will not let me redeem the certificate without providing a credit card number, which is totally unnecessary.I do not want to pay a monthly fee.
