  ZERO STARS - Vague and misleading communication in violation of the ************************ (***) Negative Option I placed what I believed to be a one-time food order from a meal delivery service. At no point during checkout or in the confirmation email was it clearly disclosed that I would be automatically enrolled in a recurring weekly subscription. The follow-up email included vague language about selecting or skipping meals, but it did not state that I would be charged and shipped meals by default if no action was taken.On July 24, 2025, I was charged $124.87 for meals I did not select. I called the company immediately that same day to cancel and left a voicemail. I received no response. I called again several days later and left a second voicemail. I then followed up with an email. The company finally responded four days laterafter their cancellation deadline had passedand refused to issue a refund.I continued to email their customer support team, but they refused to acknowledge my early cancellation request or issue a refund. As a new customer, I was never made aware that I was part of a subscription. Their communication practices are unclear and misleading, and their delayed response prevented me from canceling in time.I have filed a complaint with the ************************.

  I placed my first meal order on September 30th to test the food quality. However, I just noticed a new unauthorized transaction of $125.87 on my account. I wasn't aware that I had signed up for a monthly plan, so I contacted them within 30 minutes to try and reverse the transaction. They refused, stating it was too late, but offered to let me swap the meals. I told them I hadn't even selected any meals and that the order was double the amount and different from the first meal I had actually selected. They claimed that the meals are not made until shipping, which is scheduled for 10/17, but the transaction came in on 10/10. I called their customer service line and was sent to voicemail three times. I also tried reaching out to them on Instagram but received no response. Finally, someone from their support team messaged me back with what seemed like canned responses. As I looked at other reviews, I noticed similar complaints. Typically, subscriptions are charged monthly, but they doubled the charges within a week without my knowledge. ******!

  ****,We did communicate via email that this is a weekly subscription, you are not charged within the same week. I do see that we ended up refunding that order for you as well as closing the account.

  The fact that this is a subscription was not clear. They did send an e-mail asking me to pick meals but didn't explain that it was required. Their website said the subscription was user selected so I assumed if I didn't pick it wouldn't send. That part is my fault as I should have investigated. The food was in horrible shape when it came to me and many packages opened. What wasn't opened wasn't very tasty. I tried to get a refund for the opened packages. Unfortunately, their telephone number was out of service. I submitted a customer request but nothing ever came of it. Maybe there will be something that I can eat out of the next delivery since it was forced on me. At least I was told this is the last delivery.Buyer beware of this company.

We did send instructions on how you can close your account, you have not been billed since then. In your very first Welcome email we describe the ordering process as well as how the subscription works.

  Zero stars I placed an initial order to try them out. I specified a subscription-free account when I signed up, because I only wanted to receive orders if I requested them.A day after I signed up, I sent them an email and requested that they cancel my order. They sent it anyway and billed me $125.00. I kept this order and tried out the food, which was fair. I was not interested in ordering any more. Since I had a subscription-free order, I didn't expect them to send any more.Then another box was delivered to my address and left in my building's lobby. I emailed them and told them I didn't order this box; please refund the money you took out of my account; and send someone to pick up my box. They refused to refund my money; they refused to send someone to pick up the box. It remains in my building's lobby; the food spoiled and bad. I have canceled my account and am still demanding that they refund my money and pick up the box I didn't order.And Now I see they've sent yet another box! These scammers belong in jail. Better Business Bureau - Please respond to this review and cover, in detail, what you are doing about this rip-off scam business in your community.And now I see that they've sent another box and charged

  We did communicate via email that our plan is subscription-first. We don't offer a subscription-free plan/account at the time of checkout. If you can provide any information that shows subscription-free as an option during the first order process, please let us know. When you did reach out to us on Saturday regarding the order that was billed, we communicated that we can not cancel this order at this time since we are past the deadline. We did also notify that the order is already paid for and there is no reason to let sit as that doesn't benefit us or you in a way.

  After reading all of these complaints about this company they all echo exactly what happened to me. I ordered on their add that had 6 meals for 54 dollars and free shipping and the same day I received the order but had not had a chance to even eat them , they had charged my card for an order I didnt make for 7 meals and shipping charges. I immediately tried to cancer the order but they refused to do so even after I said I didnt make this order. I then realized this was a scam operation and demanded a refund. They have just ignored my emails. The food was absolutely dry and disgusting. I need a refund for something I never ordered nor did I authorize payment for. I see here that I am not alone in my experience with this rip off company.

  This is essentially a scam. They don't give you a clear and easy way to cancel, they will automatically bill you every week and pick out all the meals on their menu for you. They will not refund you, and will not cancel orders. AND the food is not that great, not worth the price, and cuased me a fair amount of digestive distress and gas that could clear a room. I would give zero stars if I could. ****
