About 2 years ago through a company called SeedFi at the time received a "savings account" Loan for $4000 where they gave me $1500 up front then I paid the remaining balance into an "account" that once paid off I would then have access to the remaining $2500. I have met my obligation and paid the loan of early because I needed the funds to pay for my mother's chemo as she is battling an aggressive form of cancer and now they are blowing me off and bouncing me around from rep to rep and not helping me. Its is truly upsetting that this company will harass you relentlessly if you even go a day missing a payment literally back to back calls 20-50 times a day but when you are asking your YOUR OWN MONEY THAT IS OWED TO YOU no one is home. I sent them bank statements proving the balance was paid off which is also reflected on their own website for my account. They just keep saying we sent it over and no one cares that someone's life is on the line. No one cares about helping people only what they can get out of you. These "savings" programs are scams. WHERE IS MY MONEY???? It's mine I paid it into an account and I should be able to access my funds.

I received a letter from SST via email approximately around the first week of December 2023 stating that my account is paid in full and to contact SST regarding my refund. After reading the letter I immediately called SST and was told that my account is paid in full and a refund for the amount of $499.93 was due back to me from my loan savings account since the account is now paid in full. From this time-frame of December 2023 until current February 8, 2024. I have called SST 4 times regarding my refund and have been getting the run around about my account. Each time I speak with someone I am either told that the check is in the mail already and when 10 business days go by a new story is told that other company called *** has my account. For the two times that I contacted *** at ************, I was told that they don't have my account in their system. However, before being told about ***, my refund was supposed to been already mailed to me since December 2023 and January 2024. And again in February 2024. I provided SST my new address end of January 2024 and was told a new check will be mailed on Friday, January 26, 2024 via mail from SST as a special handling in their office and that my account will not be transferred to *** for a refund since my account was paid in full already. My SST was paid in full using my savings account that was being funded as I paid off my loan. SST paid off my load using the savings account funds and their was some money left over for $499.93. I was told the amount $499.93 is owed to me twice in 2 separate calls to SST. My complaint is the consistent run around to receive my check in the mail and the constant difference processes, procedures, and location of my account that is inconsistent. I would like this issue resolved as I have been very patient and no longer trust what I am being told about receiving a check in the mail. It feels like a scam, fraud. I am requesting my check as of yesterday and not satisfied with the service of SST.

I canceled my auto pay and paid my loan balance in full. SST then drafted the auto pay anyways. $207.57 resulting in an over payment. That was 2 weeks ago. I have tried calling and emailing. On 1/16/24 was told I would receive a refund to my card 5 business days after the payment clears my bank. I called again today and was told they can not send it back on my card and now I have to wait another 15 business days from today to have a check mailed. I should receive it in about 4 weeks. This is horrible. They took money from my account that was not authorized and now it's going to take 6 weeks to get it back. I'm a single mom, this is horrible customer service and theft.

I’ve been trying to obtain a payment check from this company since I had a savings account, and my money was never returned to me. On December 2, 2023, I received an email stating that I would receive a payment for my savings account and to contact them if I had more questions. I did because I wanted to update my new address on file, but I didn’t realize it was already updated in the email/letter I received on Dec 2, 2023. Every time I called them, they said my address was updated and they would reissue the check for the amount of $467.90 to my address. I’ve called three or four times in total, and there’s no resolution or check on the mail.

I had a personal loan with Goldman Sachs' Marcus (a/c *************) transferred over to SST for servicing on December 9th, 2023. I have been making timely monthly payments on this loan for 18 months. Goldman Sachs clearly stated that the cut-off date before which servicing would be transferred over to SST was December 8th. Accordingly, I made my payment to Goldman Sachs for the month of December on December 1st, with the expectation that this would be reflected in the handover of records to SST, and that I would then begin making payments to SST in January. However, SST apparently has no record of this transaction made to Goldman Sachs, despite it being made a full week before the cut-off, and is now reporting my December payment as delinquent. Moreover, Goldman Sachs appears to have deleted my payment history from their Marcus app and website. I am staggered by this degree of incompetence in handling the transition and request that SST work with Goldman Sachs at the earliest to correct their records and acknowledge receipt of my timely loan payment for December. My new SST account number is ********* A copy of the receipt for the December payment, issued by Goldman Sachs, is attached here.

My account was paid through a prior servicer until 12/9/23, though I made a payment 12/8/23 for half my monthly payment. The remaining half I paid 12/22/23 under the new servicer (SST). My payment was due 12/25/23, therefore it was paid early. The new system is showing late (not registering the 12/8/23 payment with prior servicer). I called last friday and ******* at SST saw the issue and said it was fixed. Yesterday it was still not fixed in system, showing 8 days late, so I called again. I got the same rep, who stated she got it taken care of. I'm still getting calls and texts showing late payment when it isnt late. This billing matter needs to be resolved immediately .

****** sold off said debt to SST in 2023 at a fraction of the cost which is a risk SST brought upon themselves. I am rejecting this response because:
The payoff was submitted on 12/19/2023. SST claimed they never received that payoff which then prompted Discover to involve their legal team for a recovery process. I had to pay off the loan from my account directly on 01/08/2024 and they didn’t even back date to 12/19/2023 when the original payoff was sent resulting in several days of daily interest charge. They also informed me they never received the initial 500 payment made 12/01/2023 however coincidentally after the payoff I sent on 01/08/2024 they have since located that payment posted it as a reversal and after having proof the loan was paid off with 0.00 balance the next day I had a new balance of 500.22.
