  I originally hired Zykan for my siding and gutters in 2021 and they did a GREAT job. Almost 4 years later I had a slight problem with my soffits sagging and contacted them for repair. I asked their supervisor ******* to come over and take a look and we’d talk about it. Instead he told me no problem I’ll send a crew over to fix it. Next day they came over and in less than an hour it was fixed with no charge. Very impressed with their professionalism, customer service and professionalism.

  I recently had my roof replaced by Zykan Exteriors STL, and I couldnt be happier with the service that ***** provided. They handled everything through my insurance, making the process seamless and stress-free. The installation was done professionally and efficiently.   Our experience with Zykan eXteriors STL has been nothing short of amazing. The team at Zykan is very experienced and know what to do every step of the way. From the outset, Zykan "held our hand" through it all and were very transparent along the way. They took the time to study and review our damage. Developed a sound and detailed estimate of not only the roof but also other areas of our home like siding, gutters, downspouts, garage doors, etc. They provided an insurance supplement and worked with our insurance to secure the maximum settlement possible. Once approved, Zykan's crews knew exactly what to do (not their first rodeo). The roof, siding, gutters, downspouts and garage doors were scheduled and replaced as agreed. In addition, when rotten areas were discovered around our screen porch, the Zykan crew got to work and replaced all the rotted areas in a professional manner and at a fair price. Now we can rest easy knowing the job was completed in a sound manner. THANK YOU Zykan eXteriors STL for taking care of us. We know who to call should we ever need your services again!

  Zykan helped me navigate a very complicated situation with my roof, insurance company, all while trying to move out of the home and reassure the new owner that the roof would be completed.Everyone on the Zykan team took time to explain every aspect of the process, what to expect, and what the costs would be. It was a very transparent experience which was very reassuring throughout the whole process.Nobody wants to, or likes to replace their roof, but if you're going to have to do it, I would highly recommend Zykan Exteriors, as they will give you quality service combined with a high level of customer service.

  Everything started out great with insurance white from our storm damage. Fast, and professional. Then two scheduled visits to the home were both no call, no show. No returned call when I called him. When I emailed **** (project advisor) about him missing appointments, he said they could not do our work because his roofer cant do flat, rubber roofs. Why didnt they tell us this as soon as they found out, so we werent left hanging and couldve gone with someone else? We were ready to sign contract and had money in hand from insurance company based on the quote they gave us. Now we have to start all over and find a company that will work on our roof that was damaged in May 2024, and it is now Mid-July.Started out great with communication, and ended very poorly. Must say, office staff was friendly when they were called just the project advisor was disrespectful by not communicating and almost ghosting us, if it werent for my persistence.

Upon looking into your file, it does show that you have a rubber roof, and yes unfortunately our company doesn't do rubber roofing installations.Zykan Exteriors was connected to you through a program called Contractor Connection, and as soon as we go out and inspect the property we are obliged to write an estimate for whatever is found. **** was your inspector in this matter, and I can assure you that if there was any way he could take care of you he absolutely would.It's unfortunate that it didn't get communicated to you that we wouldn't be able to do the work for you, and we do realize that it can be challenging to find a contractor that you can trust and rely on to be good to work with and perform quality work, so it makes sense that you didn't want to look elsewhere.**** is the most seasoned and most sought after consultant that we have, and with the multiple storms and his long list of repeat customers and referrals I absolutely know that what felt like him ghosting you was simply him being overwhelmed with the amount of outreach he was handling.While I know a response to this review may not change your experience, I sincerely do hope that it helps you understand and know that we wouldn't ever want someone to have a poor experience with us. It would have been easier to take your money and then try to find a random sub contractor to perform the work and hope it goes well, but we stand by our desire to deliver as high of quality as possible for any work that we take on, and we didn't want to give you an experience any different than that.If all of this makes sense, and you would be willing, I would request that you please remove this review as it hurts us as a company, and I sincerely hope that you can understand that there were no intentions of treating you poorly through your interactions and experience with Zykan Exteriors.Have a blessed day.

  Zykan had an excellent sales rep come to our home and give us the complete layout of what they offer. His name is ***** (yes, with a K ;), and he is very professional, thorough, and knowledgeable. We received fast service for hail damage to our roof and a very fast approval for replacement. Upon demo of our existing shingles we were notified that most of our plywood was less than standard and they replaced those sheets up to standard recommendations. The team in their office is very professional and we felt like priority one from start to finish! We even got to speak directly with the Vice President and he treated us like we are his number one customer! Very very satisfied! Beyond so actually! Trust in Zykan! They can do it!!

  I would not recommend Zykan to any home owner. It took almost 4 months to complete a roof and gutter job. They did a poor job of installing my gutters and the project manager never came to address my concerns after sending me an email stating he would come out to walk through the job and address anything I had concerns about. In the meantime I received emails and phone calls asking for payment. They would not come when they said they would and not call. When they did come they would just show up or call just before they wanted to come. All I got were excuses and I'm sorry we are busy.

  Good morning! After reviewing our files, I did find your email attached to a different property for a ******************* at *******************. While 4 months may seem like a long time, this was an insurance job with several parts to it, and not just a simple roof and gutter job as you stated. This year the greater saint ***** area experienced multiple hail and wind storms and there has been an extreme increase in the amount of homes that needed help. We're challenged and limited based on the speed of insurance companies, suppliers for materials and delivery, and labor challenges as well. Hearing that you were dissatisfied with how we took care of you doesn't please us whatsoever, and I did thoroughly review every note on your file. Our sincerest apologies for requesting payment prior to being finished - that was an error on tracking within the office. We wouldn't expect payment prior to being finished, but the final amendments for your gutters was simply missed by someone in the office.Your feelings are real, and in the moment I'm sure it can feel frustrating because anyone would want their problem to be fixed, fixed quickly, and fixed better than it was prior. We do our very best on the front end, but we also stand behind what we deliver. We gave you an enhanced GAF Silver Pledge warranty - giving you extra coverage not only by us, but it's backed by GAF. Labor and materials for 10 years, and many more perks. You also received a 10 year workmanship warranty from Zykan. We hope that you'll understand that while construction can be messy and when it's storm related it's far from fun, our goal is to take care of you in the moment but to also take care of you for years to come as these projects are going to be long lasting.We would ask that you adjust or remove this review, because we do not believe it is an accurate emotion free reflection of the entire job with all of the elements. We apologized for the mistakes and inconveniences, and never promised to be perfect, but at the end of the day we stand by what we do and what we say we are going to do. Your project was completed fully, at a fair price, and in a fair time considering all of the challenges. We will constantly work to improve our communication and are thankful for the feedback, but would request for this review to be removed.Thank you and have a blessed day!
