This a horrible company. Be very wary of getting into business with them. They do use scare tactics and pretend to be affiliated with your mortgage company to get you to sign up with them. They claim your payment is authorized for a certain day but try to charge you right away. Customer service is seriously lacking. They kept me on hold for 50 minutes. And refuse to connect with their customers via email to make things easier. All scammer tactics to get and keep your money.

********************* We do apologize for any miscommunication. We received a phone call from ***** asking about putting coverage on your home Thursday 05/04/2023 @ 4:45 PM CST. ****** went over all the details and payment terms on a recorded line, ***** stated yes I do want to protect my home appliances and at that point you gave ****** your payment information for the activation fee. Nationwide Assistance is in no way affiliated with your mortgage company, nor did anyone at Nationwide Assistance say that we were. ***** was emailing the company back and fourth over the weekend and was advised 3x that the customer service hours are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm CST. ***** was not happy at all that customer service was closed on the weekend, ***** then went the social media and the BBB and stated that Nationwide Assistance was a scam because she called after hours when customer service was not open. **************** contacted ***** 1st thing Monday morning and canceled the policy and applied a full refund, and ***** still stated we are a scam and she will just call her credit card company after she was fully refunded. Thank you Nationwide Assistance

Highly recommend this company. My air conditioning wasn't working. It ended up being an electrical issue. They paid all of it. It would've been over $2,000 out of pocket if we wouldn't have had this.

Absolutely TERRIBLE, AWEFUL, UNETHICAL. Scare tactic in getting persons to sign up by telling them to pay right away or risk having coverage declined. Spoke with *********************** on Tuesday november 8th, 2022, he scared me into signing up after hanging up with him I contacted my lender, called him back right away and got transferred to his extension, its been 2 days and am unable to reach him to have this policy cancel. Cancel this policy IMMEDIATELY

We do apologize that you were scared, but here at Nationwide we would never force a customer into getting coverage. It looks like you received a notification as an offer for protection, you called into our office spoke to ***** and he went over all of the details about the program and at that point you gave him your credit card information to sign up for the plan. All Nationwide Assistance customers have a 30-day free look, and if you are not happy with the protection you receive a full refund. You also emailed Nationwide Assistance and we provided you with the direct number to customer service so they could get you canceled out. The hours of operation are M-F 8:00am - 5:00pm. Nationwide Assistance is not terrible, awful, and unethical, as we advised you if you do not want the protection call customers service and use your 30-day free look and ask for a refund. Thank you Nationwide Assistance

Definitely a scam. I received a flier in my mailbox for a home warranty and when I called the number on the flier the man said vehicle warranty department. He was pushy and rude. No thanks.

Absolutely terrible. Pressured me by scaring me into buying a policy by telling me the coverage I bought with the dealership on my car wasnt valid. Which when I called my dealership they said that it was valid. The guy from nationwide assist said that if I dont pay them now I would be declining my coverage and I cant hang up otherwise Im declining my coverage.

We do apologize if you felt scared and pressured when purchasing coverage, we have reviewed the phone conversation and the agent stated that if you do not currently have any protection on the vehicle by declining this offer you would not be covered through us and you would be liable for all future repairs. The protection you took out through Nationwide Assistance has been canceled and you will receive a full refund. We do apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you Nationwide Assistance

**************** is terrible. Won't answer the phone. When I got a hold of somebody they said I needed to call from the primary number so I hung up and called back thinking I had her extension but it just rang and rang and somebody else picked up and asked for my vehicle contact number and then hung ** in the middle of me giving it to them.
