8.11.2020 made a plan and paid $5801 for the “Elite package”. Which took approximately 1 year to complete. It included 7 extractions 2 implants and a complete denture top and bottom. 6.1.2023 one of the implants started hurting really bad and it broke in my mouth. Very painful , the dentist said I had to just let it fall out, very very painful it was breaking away from my gums, very painfully it finally did break off. The dentist didn’t tell me that they screwed into my jaw and instead of waiting for it to break off it could have been unscrewed by the dentist. Very very painful! After it broke they said I had to let it heal up before they could replace the implant. I had been in the office 5-6 times while this implant was breaking because of the pain.
That was in October 2023 and they said to let it heal for 6 months and when I tried to make appointment to get fixed they had gone out of business. Now I have no bottom dentures and only 1 implant. So I am now toothless and ugly and don’t know what to do about it or even who to call and try to fix or anything. Is there anything you can help me with my situation??

One of my posts keeps getting infected and has done implanted and the locator is still on and causing pain.  My denture have broken at least 4-5 times and each time they are fixed it's cheaply done.  I don't even know if I have a denture made of I even have enough posts to secure it.  I'm very concerned about his cheap ways of doing things and am concerned I may need more implants.  My dentures are broken in half and this is devastating. I laid 7000 dollars to still walk around without teeth.

I have been going to Wright Dental Services for the past 2 years to finish receiving my dentures. I was in on May 20, 2024 for a fitting of my final dentures.
They set another appointment for June 3, 2024 at 4:15 p.m. when I arrived at the business, it was closed. No one in the building and nothing on the door.
I left messages on both of the insurance managers line and on the dentist's cell.
Further information on the Internet has shown this location to have closed. I would like to receive my final teeth that I've paid for please.

This business entered into a contract with me to provide services. They took my money and did not provide the service.
They knew when they accepted the money that they were closing the doors and would not be providing the services that they promised.
They sent a letter out with the date of April 29,2024 on it. In the letter it stated they were closing down June 6,24 and would no longer be serving patients. They actually shut the doors May 16,2024. And never reopened! They pulled my nine teeth on May 14,2024 and left me with no emergency contacts. I had to go to the ER, my neurologist and an infusion center due to the pain i was in afterward. I am know left with no dentures that fit my mouth. My implants are not finished if they are even there. And i am also out my permanent dentures that are supposed to snap in! So i cant even chew, not to mention my looks. The bill where they itemized the work is also fraudulent. This whole thing has been very traumatic. I now have to find a new dentist to take over care and recoup my money.

Sept.22,2021 Wright authorized payment to start process of removing existing teeth and providing dentures. 18 visits later, and a second complete remake of final dentures, hardware was installed, and dentures provided week ending 1-20-2023. At first meal dentures failed immediately to retain, and useless (Top). 1-23-2023 visited establishment requesting immediate correction to failure. Note: Installed hardware prevents use of Prior temporary dentures, and unable to process any solids. At this time, they DENIED immediate help and would only address this issue at a weeks later schedule. I cannot survive on liquids alone. Contacted Local, County, State, health or dental agencies for help, and if they would help, would only do by formal time-consuming complaints. My next action has to be seek Legal action since their failed product and service causes restricts my inability to consume sustenance requirements.

    Business Response

    Date: 01/30/2023

    To whom it may concern,
Patient was seen September 2021 for consultation and decided to proceed with proposed treatment plan. At this time, the patient was advised that the treatment time limit, if all treatment goes as planned with no issues would be at a minimum of 12 months to receive his final denture. As with all medical procedures there are variables that occur and must be addressed to ensure a correct fit which could extend this time frame. Patient has been seen for scheduled appointments as treatment has been scheduled. On multiple occasions patients have arrived at the office without an appointment which we require appointments to be seen as we are not equipped to see walk in patients which the majority if not all dentists cannot take walk in patients. The patient arrived in our office on January 16th, 2023, for a scheduled appointment and left the office with his attached denture and a signed warranty document stating he received his denture, and it was attached. Clinical notes follow the above conversation. Upon leaving the office on this date he was scheduled for a follow-up visit in the 3 weeks and was happy upon leaving. January 23, 2023, patient arrived at the office demanding to be seen, yelling, and cursing at staff. Staff stated to the patient that we could not see him right then as we currently have a full schedule, but we would call him as soon as there was a cancellation. He threatened the staff and caused a scene in the office where staff felt uncomfortable. Patient was put on a cancellation list so he could be notified of any cancellation. Patient was then called the afternoon of the 23rd to offer an appointment that a patient just cancelled for the same day at 3:30 pm. Patient on the phone stated to office staff that he was mad, but he will be at the appointment at 3:30. During the appointment the patient was recording without staff or physician approval. The patient was asked to stop recording as it is not authorized as well as it was an invasion of staff privacy. Patient then stopped recording and stated that he deleted the recordings. The patient continued to be seen for his appointment and the denture fully attached to the implants at the time of dismissal from office. During the appointment there is a process to ensure that the denture fits and has tissue support to ensure that it is stable in the mouth, this is called piping the denture. This typically takes several times to accomplish the goal of a great fit and it is part of any denture insertion appointment. This is a typical procedure and from what the patient is stating he assumes that a denture is made and just given with no issues. As with any prosthetic whether this be a leg, arm, or denture. Prosthetics are difficult to adjust to as well as they take many appointments to get the patient adapted to them. Unfortunately, dentures are not like natural born teeth, and they do need adjustments and follow up appointments.  We, as with all patients, continually work with our patients throughout the process and continue to see patients for follow up appointments as needed which are all scheduled and included in their original treatment plan other than cleanings and parts for implant dentures as outlined on warranty sheet. The patient next scheduled appointment is February 13, 2023. This appointment was scheduled upon leaving January 23,2023 and the denture attached to the patients implants which was why he was provided his warranty document that the patient signed.  Until we see him at his next appointment we will not be able to determine what is might be the issue he is having.   Patient also has a initial denture as well that he can wear if need be to aid him through this time as well.   We will always continue to see our patients, but we will not tolerate violence, yelling, screaming, or cursing at our staff as this creates a unsafe environment for all. I hope this clarifies the concerns for this complaint and if you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
