I hired Econotree to cut down the tree in front of my house and tree the dead wood off of a tree in the back yard in October 2021. The owner did not keep me updated on the day he would come cut/trim the trees. He would respond after I inquired initially but now is not responding to me at all. He would say that it was definitely going to be done by a certain time/date and then not show up or let me know what was going on. He only cut the front tree partially. I told him I wanted it to be below the roof of my house at least so branches would not fall on the house since it is an oak tree and likely to die after being cut. He left it well above the roof and looks terrible. He also did not trim the tree in back whatsoever. He took the rest of the money after a couple weeks even though the job was not nearly completed. The last time I was able to speak with him, he assured me that finishing my job was a priority but they have not been out for months. He is no longer responding to my messages. I do not have faith that he is coming back to finish the job and would like a refund/partial refund so I can hire a different company to finish the job. I would like a 200 dollar refund on the tree in back since he did not trim that one at all. I would also like a partial refund from the cutting of the front tree since he did not finish cutting it all the way like we previously agreed upon.
