    Sent a misleading letter in the mail that led me to believe that my car was not under warranty (when it already is for the next 10 years). Got far into the phone when I realized this would add an additional $300 to my already expensive car payment and was connected to a supervisor. The supervisor asked me why I would want to pay more when I can get it through them for less. Im a first time car buyer and their advertising led me to believe that my car was at risk and that I would be liable for any costs. Im happy with where Im at, and they didnt ask if I already had a warranty. Seemed very scammish when I started to refuse. Canceled my card and moved on.

    After my son bought a car, he received a letter from this company about purchasing a warranty. We knew this was a scam because I have received the same letter from them about my own car. What REALLY bothers me is they have a stranger's name attached to our address. This looks like the beginnings of identity theft. I have placed fraud alerts on all his accounts. I suggest you do the same if you receive any letter with the wrong name attached to your address, but especially from these Athena people.

    The letter just displayed I have a $300 fine on my car. When I opened the letter it was an advert. Very decietful. I would love if their doctor sent them a letter saying they have cancer, just for them to show up and get a sales pitch for a colonoscopy.

    They sent an unsolicited advertisement via mail which is full of deceptive, fear based, and manipulative tactics in blatant bad faith marketing. It appears to be claiming that my vehicle's factory warranty is running out (which it isn't) and I have 5 days to "update" my warranty before losing it forever (which I don't). They use scary language about risk of financial liability and the urgency of their "final attempt" to have us "call immediately". Disgusting. Unethical. Zero value proposition.

    If I could I would give this plane minus ********* ******** husband and I purchased 2022 ****** Corolla that is certified.I received a letter yesterday saying that we have not contacted this scum to get our service contract up-to-date.The letter has no mailing address nor was it dated. Those were the first clues that this was not legit I texted the speakership to see if this allegation was true and was told that everything on my car was fine and to ignore it.AP is a third-party company trying to sell us stuff and I can ignore it.

    Big fat scam letter came in the mail. Look out for urgent language - "IMMEDIATELY" in all caps is a huge giveaway. No company name anywhere other than small print. This company is actively trying to deceive people.
