They advertise $39 for initial and charged me $389.36. I only went 4 times and they refused to give a partial refund. They *** refused to bill my insurance. Plus I have no pain relief

This patient had initially wanted a refund for her unused visits from her first month on the membership plan. She purchased a membership of 8 visits per month, and the first month is $290. In all of our contracts, we review with the patient that there are no refunds but treatments that have been paid for can be used. Her treatment plan she purchased recommended over 8 visits, so she would need to keep coming for at least 8 visits anyways to know if she is healing or feeling relief. We reached out to the patient multiple times, between emailing her back a reply to give us call, the acupuncturist calling her and leaving a message, and sending a text message. We wanted to address her concerns about not feeling any difference after only 4 treatments. The patient did not reply to any of our messages. Because she has not contacted us, her next monthly payment of $160 went through but this has been refunded. Per our contract she signed, she is required to give a 30 day notice to terminate the contract which would mean an extra charge, but we have not charged this.

They never explained it was. A contract. In my mind I was seeing a doctor. When I asked if they wanted my insurance cardI was told no. They kept calling and texting but why would I go back ???
