On February 29, 2024, the business entered into a Consent Order with the Minnesota Department of Commerce. The Consent Order settles allegations that the business principle, A. J. Kanz, demonstrated incompetence when quoting and placing a homeowner's association insurance policy, a violation of Minn. Stat. 60K.43, subd. 1(8)(2022). Under terms of the Consent Order, the business agreed to pay a civil penalty of $2,500.00 and $90 in investigation costs.
