  Towed my AWD incorrectly!!!! Two wheels were touching the pavement! Our mechanic called us right away when the car was dropped off! It was on our paperwork, the car was AWD! Not happy at all with their service! They shoukd know better when towing AWD. If they didn't have the right equipment for towing without a flatbed, they shoukd have not towed the car, notify me of the circumstances and either send out a flat bed or come back with the correct equipment! Now I have to go through the hassle of filing a claim through my insurance to get even more work done on my car! They knew the tow wasn't an emergency and could have done better!

  Terrible customer service! They made me pay for a roadside service call that was covered by my insurance. When my insurance called a few minutes later to pay they refused. Terrible experience.

  My experience with KJ's towing was absolutely horrible. After breaking down on the side of the road I was told that my car would be picked up in 45 minutes. After waiting for an hour I called them and they said it would be another 30 minutes. I then called them another hour later and they said that they were sending out a different driver and he'd be to me within the next 30 minutes. It then took him another 3 hours to get to me after that. In total I sat in my car on the side of the road waiting for them for over 5 hours. I wouldn't wish this service upon my worst enemy, I'd give them 0 stars if it was an option. Don't give this company your business, they're beyond bad.

  ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Towed my car last Friday, never got an update if they brought it to the shop or not. We had to call them and figure out if it was brought to the shop. Not their fault, insurance company's fault, but they brought it to a Leather Repair Shop instead of an actual Auto Shop that can fix my car. So then we call this towing company again and ask to get my car towed to the nearest Auto Shop which is 0.5 miles away and they said they will get it towed to that shop by 8pm. AGAIN, did not hear anything, so we gave them some time and called around 3-4pm the next day. The girl that answered the phone and was UNBELIEVABLY rude did not help at all, until my dad got on the phone AND THEN she FINALLY had some decency. Said there was no file for the call that we had made with them the previous night when we were on the phone with them for approx. ***** min. She then said they will send another tow to tow my car. Again, didn't hear anything for hours, so we called again, and it was the same girl. She put me on hold and then ended the call. Called again, and she was again being very rude to not me, but my step mom, and then said the tow was in route. Right after the call ended, we got a call from another employee asking for our card number because he had just finished towing the car. VERY VERY UNRELIABLE AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I should have gotten the name of that girl that was on the phone with me and my stepmom because she sounded like she actually hated her job and life. HORRRIBLE WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND and we are also telling the insurance company to never use this towing company again. Also, not surprised at all that they are rated at **** stars when I came on here to leave a review. Actually pretty humorous.

  Zero stars They towed our 2 cars on a Friday and charged us for Saturday and Sunday because they don't have the service but weren't willing to let us retrieve our vehicles on a Sunday this was a 200 dollar fee. They are cash only and appointment with 15 min intervals, my boyfriend who spoke with the person missed this information because as human thus happens. We were charged a late fee of 75 dollars for 5-10min late. These people are UNFAIR, Excesive and heartless. They overcharged ** about 400 dollars. One of our cars wouldn't start and one of the owners was laughing at the fact he was about to charge ** more. Luckily we had a starter. I was so angry he was joyous of our suffering. Boycot these people. Don't get their service.

  On 5/24/2023 I had a great experience with K&J Towing. *** was fabulous. Kind, and personable. There was a miss communication about me needing a ride with my insurance carrier and he was like no problem ********* you. I would definitely use K& J again! *** made me feel relaxed and comfortable at time when I was worried about how bad the damage was to my car. Thank you ***!!! Great job.

  NEGATIVE **** STARS!!! They told the insurance it took them an hour and a half to get the car out of the ditch but billed me for **** hours. Then charged an additional $400+ because they didn't like my attitude. Then on the phone they told me cash only but failed to mention that it had to be exact change only. They towed the car to impound saying it wasn't drivable except they were driving it. They also searched my car and trunk for some unknown reason, trashing my car, throwing all my stuff all around. This is the absolute worst tow truck experience I've ever had.

  I broke down in *********** on my way home to ****. It took awhile between my roadside assistance company and me personally calling but they eventually showed up and towed me home to ****. The driver *** was amazing, knowledgeable, hard working young man. Other than the fact that I was quoted one price and paid another $125 the service was great. I would recommend them to anyone and use them again for sure.

  My son had a flat tire, AAA set up this KJ's t tow to a service center. **'s said that the service station rejected the car and took to their yard. **'s requires an appointment to set up a move and charges storage. We tried calling for two days to get an appointment but **'s does not answer the phone and does not have a voicemail available.. Therefore this sat over the weekend and finally we got an answer and appointment on Monday. KJ's charged my son $800.00 for storage and towing, and set up the tow to the service station. My son asked if they thought he should contact the service station to make sure the care will be accepted, but KJ's advised that it should not be a problem. Later that day we find out that the service station again rejected the car. We have to again go through making multiple phone calls that go unanswered to make an appointment. When we finally get through and get an appointment my son is charged another $300.00 to have the car removed from the yard and placed on the street so we can get another tow company to pick up the car. Very bad company that roadside service companies need to remove from their service.

  ZERO STARS!!!! Our insurance company (Western National) roadside assistance lined up KJs to tow my husbands car from a HyVee parking lot at 7:50 p. He was told he it would take an hour. At 9:30, I headed to Hy-Vee to keep my husband company. Called roadside assistance again. They wondered if wed been towed. No, we had not. Roadside assistance check with KJs. They said they got delayed, would be there in 20 minutes. I called KJs to verify, was put on hold. Finally hung up, called back and kept getting message that voicemail was full. We called roadside assistance again. He figures KJs isnt coming. Headed home, waiting to hear if a legit companyNOT KJswill tow our car tonight or tomorrow. I will be calling Western National and urging them not to contract with KJs anymore. They are an unreliable company who think nothing of leaving people waiting for a tow that will never come.Thank God Hy-Vee is willing to let our car stay in the lot overnight.
