      I had a Bite Squad account with over $500 credit remaining for Bite Squad food delivery.They went out of business and I cannot get this amount refunded.

      I have used Bite Squad satisfactorily for several years until today. My order was so late I didn't have time to eat it. Customer service was very unhelpful and ended conversations before I was done talking. To make matters worse I was only offered a partial credit, not refund. I made several attempts to chat with customer service but was cut off each time. They gave me an email to a supervisor but I got no response I am requesting a full refund.

      Issue with online ordering platform changing store location automatically causing order to be placed incorrectly. I was still charged even though I never got my order and the company will not fix the issue or acknowledge it.

      After reviewing the issue at hand, unfortunately we are unable to offer compensation for your order. Since the order was a pick up order and the restaurant was unable to confirm you reaching out to them to cancel the order at the other location, we are unable to refund it. We cannot also prove that it was a system error and not customer error as you have ordered at that paritcular location in the past. I apologize if this is not the resolution you were hoping for.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      The location I went to, ************************************************************************ told me when I got there that BiteSquad would refund the order since I was not going to be able to get it. The girl ************ was on the phone trying to call them so I did not. I have not ordered from that location in years as I no longer work over there. I find this ridiculous and of course you would not admit there was any wrongdoing by your company.

      I placed an order today. I stood outside of my door after the delivery driver texted me saying here. I never received my food. I waited for twenty minutes. I used chat support and the agent said we cannot refund you because the order was indeed dropped off at the correct location, after asking me to verify my address. This delivery driver may have come by my house before texting me here, but they did not leave the order at my door. This is so insane that i am having to type this to get a refund for food that I paid for and never received. You cannot make me pay for something that never was delivered to me.

      On 9/16/23, i placed a delivery with a merchant through bite squad. From the time i ordered to when it arrived, it took a solid 1.5 hours to get it. When i placed the order, there was a check **** to "save" money by enrolling in the bite squad ultimate membership. This check **** took my order down $7, awesome! What i did not know is that they were going to charge me $9.99 additional in another transaction tricking me into thinking i was going to "save" money with this order.The second that this order was placed & i saw the charge, i contacted support to cancel the ******************* the $9.99. Instead, i got a rude agent who said "membership cancelled" & ended the chat. Extremely rude. The way their checkout system worked, manipulates customers into thinking you can save money by doing that membership. That was the 1st issue.2nd issue was with the food. It took 1.5 hours to get, not to mention, it did not arrive at the expected promise time & when it finally did, it was COLD. & i mean cold as in you would need to put it back on the stove. Since the order contained meats & if not in proper temperature within a certain amount of time, the item accumulates bacteria which makes it unsafe to eat. My lunch was ruined so i threw it all away & contacted bite squad support. They said "it only arrived x minutes late so we can refund you for 1 item, thanks for contacting us, bye". I did not complain about the lateness, it was about the food & when i called this out, they transferred me to another agent. They failed to listen to me & give me refund options as i just wasted $40+ on this order. They did not ask me for photos of the food when i got it, or anything in details, it was a simply, "no full refund & that's final". i told them what am i supposed to do with the unsafe *********** said they are not able to help me. They know the food got to me late, they know the time it took for me to get it. To know all this & deny a full refund for inedible food is unbelievable.

      I apologize for the trouble caused. I have reviewed the order and it appears that it arrived in just under an hour, having been placed at 1:35 and arriving at 2:29. Based on this timeframe, we are unable to offer a full refund. I do see that we did offer you about a third of the order back. We also issued a refund for the charge for the unlimited membership for $9.99. Unfortunately, his is all that we can offer in this situation.       I had an expired credit card on file, and they continued to charge it $9.99 per month for the last two years. How they got these payments to go through I am unsure of. However, they did not have authorization to continue to charge my account beyond the expiration date of my card on file. I emailed them regarding this issue, and they told me to take it up with my bank. I will be seeking a full refund for all charges to my card past the expiration date.

      Drivers can steal your food. They can claim that they followed instructions. Even when there is proof that they didnt. Then consumer never get order and they wont provide refund. Im out $36 because of this.

      BiteSquad provides a food delivery service in the ***************** area where you get no per delivery fees if you have an unlimited account for 9.99/mo. I had an expired credit card on file and they continued to charge it and deduct from my account.Their website said that the service would discontinue if I failed to update my billing info and there was no way on their website to discontinue the service.I finally got into a chat with a support person who cancelled the service and they had no reaction to my complaint about the misleading text on the website.I was charged for 2 years to an expired credit card.

      This business makes me absolutely LIVID, and I want some kind of reparation or assistance. In May of 2022, the Bite Squad's onine ordering system flagged the credit card I was using to pay for a delivery order as fraudulent. My card wasn't fraudulent at all; there was absolutely nothing wrong with my credit card except the fact that I was updating its expiration date. I tried desperately to contact customer service to explain that, but starting at that moment, now any time I try to place an order, it automatically gets CANCELED, and I get a message that I am attempting CREDIT CARD FRAUD, and I then get a string of robot voicemail messages OVER and OVER alerting me that there is fraudulent action happening on my card. Back in May, I filed a BBB complaint about this, and it STILL did not result in my account being fixed; I figured that by now SURELY the issue wouldn't be happening, but NOPE -- ONCE AGAIN, the website has booted my order, declared my credit card fraudulent, and I'm getting the robo calls accusing me of having stolen someone's card. The Bite Squad doesn't seem to care at all that they've wreaked havoc with my bank account, and have made it impossible for me to use their delivery service. I have called them and emailed them repeatedly, trying to get them to stop these mistaken alerts and accept my card. There are no positive results whatsoever. It is absolutely CRAZYMAKING. And I wouldn't even CARE, except that they are the delivery service for my favorite restaurant in the world, which now I can't get delivery from, ever. I am absolutely furious, and I want action taken -- I want this situation FIXED FOR GOOD.
