      car versus deer accident November 22. My insurance right away Got a claim filed as I was in a car versus deer accident. This happened November 22, 2024. (got a tow collision company /tow out of ********************* to tow my van to his facility called ****** Collision and repair. By Tuesday, he had the estimate sent off to this company Northstar. I kept calling daily to see where this was at as I never heard anything I couldn't Get a hold of anyone then I got a text from **** at north star asking Where the process was he claimed, there was no estimate submitted showing on his screen. So **** called ******* (the adjuster) she claimed that the Collision company didn't send The estimate off, which I told him yes they did I personally talked to ****. **** then contacted the adjuster ******* himself then she claims she got it on Tuesday. Then **** told me that I should hear something by the end of the day Tuesdays and I Never head anything then Wednesday Dec 4th I never heard anything all morning and on my lunch, I called and then ******* told me that they got the estimate and I will get ********. She never said what I was supposed to do so then we hung up and then I called her back and asked her It to be sent by email of this report summary. I Scan through the first few pages as I was still at work. And I noticed some of the features that I have in my vehicle were not marked. So I questioned her about that and she stated as you can see on the page there was no option for that but now that I'm home page 7 through 22 shows that there is options for that as mine being the last vehicle and they Comped 3 vehicles after mine on the page, but they still don't have a green checkmark by certain things that I have in my vehicle. It seems they are refusing to check these Features off. I also put in $50 worth of gas 5 mins before the crash,lots of new parts and they are claiming that's all maintenance.They are a scam ******** damage ******** offer ******* buy back

      We own a 2008 Chev Impala in excellent condition with all options possible and ****** miles. We have full coverage, we hit a deer with an estimate of $3127.44, the insurance offered us $2349 to settle and they take the car OR we keep the car and get $0. The ***** blue book is $5000 _ $6200, checked with local dealers and they said they could sell it for $4500....we thought we would accept their low ball offer of $2349 if we could keep the car as it would still cost us over $800 out of pocket for the estimate. I am hoping you can help resolve this issue.

      Horrible experience with Northstar. Still owe us $14,000 for our roof. Adjuster, **** would rarely answer calls or emails. He said they were swamped with claims. Then when I finally got ahold of him, he said he needed a new estimate. Then we sent another estimate (3 estimates total) and was told the time period elapsed and he wasnt my adjuster! Why was this information not discussed the first time I spoke with **** and why did nobody give me the correct adjusters number. Very shady company.. I would avoid! I will be filing a claim with the state.

      I think this is a very poor company to work with. I decided to write a review and noticed other reviews of the same nature, regarding the same storm of May 2022!! This company is refusing to work with me, stating "minor damage...old roof...does not fall with their guidelines" BUT many homes across the street and block were hit. My next door neighbor (10 ft away) received a new roof on her house, her garage and new siding...yet my roof went "untouched". I have photos of my lawn furniture webbing SNAPPED by hail and had to be rewoven...yet, no damage to my roof. I am in contact with the ************************* to intervene. This is ridiculous. Unbelievable.

      The worst cheapest house devaluing insurance company or there. There rates are low for home owners but you'll pay in the end if something happens to your home. Look else where

      They actually do not ever deserve the 1 star. The ladies in the office were nice but the adjuster is a piece of c*** Just goes but his little old computer, not the actual job.
