      We noticed a stain/fading inside one of our windows along with mold and rust. Called to get this fixed since there clearly was an issue with the seal. Got told that an unknown chemical got on the window and caused the seal to brake and we would be responsible for fixing the window. They said if it was moisture only there wouldnt be rust on the metal divider in between the window pains. Lol I guess Andersen has developed a new kind of metal that doesnt rust when water get on it. It is going to be about $1,000 to fix after its all said and done. Not a single other window is like this, including the two that a a few feet from the one thats messed up. But according to Andersen, this magical unknown chemical got just to this one window. So even though we didnt use or have any control over this chemical its fully on us. Glad to see a 3 billion company will nickel and dime their customers and use a ridiculous excuse to not cover one of their products thats clearly defective.
