1 starSpent 30 minutes on a phone call to try to get my screen door replaced thats under warranty and they wanted to send me wheels replacement. I will definitely not be using ******** windows in the future nor will I recommend them. The gentleman I spoke to on 7/1/2025 definitely doesnt know how warranty work. Especially when you pay closer to $15,000 on a patio door. disappointing.Review fromS. H.

1 starWarning: Do Not Purchase Andersen Doors The doors we received were significantly different from what was advertised on Andersens website. When placing the order, the sill appeared to be a very dark grayalmost blackmatching the black door. However, what we actually received was a much lighter, cheap-looking gray sill that does not match at all.Despite spending over $37,000, Andersen has refused to acknowledge the discrepancy or take responsibility for the issue, they offered no real support regarding the defective components.Weve attached a photo from their website alongside an image of what we receivedplease take a look and judge the difference for yourself. It's substantial. Buyer beware.Andersen Corporation

An Anderson representative called and mentioned that Home Depot, where we placed the order, should have the door on display, as that's standard practice. However, they do not. She left a voicemail stating that we need to locate a retailer who does have the door on display to verify the sill color, which she claims is light gray.
In the photos we received, the sill appears to be dark gray. This representative insisted there is only one sill color available, while Casey, who previously called, said there are different shades of gray. It seems like the Anderson representatives are not aligned or certain about the correct sill color—whether it's the light gray we received, the dark gray shown in the images, or something else entirely.
This inconsistency is very frustrating.Review fromScott G

1 starOn 4/29/25I ordered parts for my storm door. I needed a replacement screen and the install brackets. I received the brackets quickly. The screen never arrived. I checked the order status and it said fulfilled. I contacted customer service and they placed a replacement order for the screen. As of 6/1/25 I'm still waiting for the screen. I contacted customer service on 5/28 and was told "it's shipping this week". It still noted as "in progress".Andersen Corporation

1 starWe purchased a home with Andersen windows and doors last August. I wanted to learn about warranty details because one of the doors leaks when it rains. They quoted me $700 to come out and tune up the doors which were installed within the last four years. Of course, a few months later, one of the doorhandles just completely came off. You would expect that with such a superior product, you would also get high-end support. If something breaks, you have to help them identify the piece over the phone. Apparently they dont just have a service where a technician can come out and assist you. You would think that if companies that provide dining tables are willing to do that, companies that provide products that are imperative to your homes safety and function could also include such a service. Safe to say, we have called them three times and every time they have sent us the wrong parts to fix our door. I have ****** image searched the part, and because they are so close to the chest about their products, you cannot just locate and purchase a replacement. But I argue you also shouldnt have to - especially when your door is under warranty. Things happen, parts break - but Andersen seems to rely too heavily on things not going wrong. And when things do, they really drop the ball. Theres no problem with believing that your company provides a high quality product and standing by it - but you cant call yourself a high quality company without accounting for the moments that your product fails.Andersen Corporation

1 starI bought the best ******** that they offer. The are the biggest pieces of sht! I cannot believe that they are even in business. I can feel air leaking through every single double hung in the house. They had someone come out and replace the weather strip twice, or at least that's what they told me. No difference. I make sure to tell every person that asks me about windows how terrible they are. I build houses for a living, so I get asked alot about windows. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR LIES! *** EAGLE ********* Every single review i confirms!GARBAGEAndersen Corporation

1 starThe series 100 we ordered from HD has 4 visible screws poking out. This is an inferior product but it markets as a premium product. We suspect the screws should be installed in a concealed manner, not visible.Stay away from them, their customer service pushes the issue as something ********* has to fix. After two calls to their customer service department NOTHING has been resolved.Review fromAndrew R

1 starIf I could give them a -100 I would. ******** products are junk. We paid big money for their full view kladded ***************************** in a addition we added on to our house. Not one window held up & the full view door panel was replaced 3 times before we just removed it & replaced it with a door that cost 1/2 the amount of the ******** & is so much better. Their product is over priced junk. They will never sell us or any of our family any more of their garbage.Andersen Corporation

1 starDisappointed doesnt begin to describe the experience. Disgusted is more appropriate. My wife and I were both encouraged by a couple contractors to go with Andersen 100s for our new home build. I later found out that builders like this series due to their ease and speed of installation. Weve have had nothing but problems with these windows, sliders, and french doors since they were installed. Window operation is challenging and noisy (think 1970's aluminum windows). My wife cant even open a couple where she has to reach over our kitchen counters. Keep in mind, we dropped tens of thousands of $$$ on these things. The inside of our french doors have semi-solid black stain that looks like it was applied with tractor tires. The tech who brought new ones out wouldn't install them because they looked worse and had several gouges in them. Our sliders are horrendous. The handles and latches are flimsy and the latches don't catch unless you slam the doors and hold them tight against the casing. The slider in our master bedroom didnt have weather stripping between the fixed and sliding panels. The door would whistle as cold air blew into our bedroom and it sounded like we were sleeping with our windows open. I had to stuff pieces of foam between the panels to silence the noise, stop air from coming in, and heating or A/C from going out. The tech eventually came out to fix this, which worked for a couple months and now it has started happening again. The double sliders in our living room stick to the point where I struggle to open them (I'm a very fit person). My son can't even open one of them. Don't be fooled by the name. Andersen may have been a quality company at one point, but our experience is firsthand proof thats no longer the case. I wish we would have saved thousands upon thousands of dollars and just gone with cheaper vinyl windows.Andersen Corporation

Great automated response. Unfortunately, no human actually ever reached out to me. Good thing we've already been dealing with this for over a year and have an open case file. Meanwhile, we still can't sleep at night because our sliders in our master bedroom whistle non-stop when there's any sort of wind.
