I have never had anything good to say about this office but it came to a head yesterday. Since I started making payments I have always gone to the office to pay, except for one time. Before that one time I got the ** box information from an employee, he wrote it down for me. Once a month for over 2 years I have driven 45 minutes to pay in person to ensure that everything is dealt with properly after this office tried to *** my sister twice for the same ****. I make sure to get a receipt and have every one filed along with the receipts from purchasing the money orders to pay. Yesterday, 5/31, I drove out to the office just to find a note on their window saying that they will no longer be accepting in person payments. I was already very angry about this, but what made it worse is that the ** box that they provided on the notice is different than the one I was given a year ago, that the employee wrote down. I'm concerned now that my payment won't be received on time and that I'll be punished for it despite me doing everything right. I made sure to mail out my payment from the closest post office in Zeeland but it was already 4:30pm so I'm not sure even the post date will help. I have had way too many shady interactions with this business and if it weren't for the court order I would stop paying because I am not confident that my payments are even being properly applied to my debt. Shame on Metro Health for doing business with these people and shame on this law office for their shady practices.
