My husband and I will never buy another rv from this company. We bought a 2022 Keysone Avalanche 338GK in January of 2021. The Sales and ****************** were very accommodating until the contract was signed. My husband and I bought all of the extended warranties to cover both the inside and the outside of our rv. At the time of purchase, we asked repeatedly if everything was covered "bumper to bumper" and were assured it was. That was a lie right then and there that we learned when our original warranty expired.After the first time taking our rv camping, we noticed water coming from under the refrigerator (enough that we had to wring out towels). We made an appointment to bring our rv in for repair to fix the refrigerator and a few other minor repairs.! Our service tech, ***** informed us that we would have to contact Keystone regarding the refrigerator because General RV did not do any repairs to the refrigerators. We did contact Keystone and they stated that General RV needed to determine if it was an actual refrigerator issue or water line. We brought our rv back in again and General RV said they could not find any water leaking. The floor under the refrigerator started getting soft and we were not getting anywhere with General RV so we took matters into our own hands and looked at it ourself. We found that ****************** was installed backwards which was causing the leak when the ice maker was on. A $2.00 part caused all the damage to our flooring.There were many more issues with this company and service that I could mention but there is not enough space on this review.We would just like to say "BUYER BEWARE" when dealing with this company.General RV Center Response

Never again would I buy a RV from them! Bought a 38ft Jayco White Hawk. Had to take it in for service a few times with it taking 6 MO both times. And there as another time we took it in and the fact is this! Terrible customer service! Excuses and not resolutions! They have had the camper in their possession more then we have had it! How is that right! We are making the payments not them! Also called corporate who was of no help basically putting it back on us to deal with it! Terrible service department! Worst I have ever seen in my lifetime. Never ever buy a RV from General RV they do not care about the customer at all. And they do not even deserve one star.General RV Center Response

Absolutely the worst service department of any company I have ever dealt with anywhere, for any product. I'm not upset that there are minor issues with the rv that we purchased from them new. They're thrown together, so there's usually bugs to work out. Which is exactly the case with our new purchase.I got in touch with them and they ask me to bring the unit in so they could inspect it and get moving with the needed repairs. My issues were a minor outside plumbing leak and one of the interior recliners wouldn't retract after being reclined.It was inspected and I was told by my service advisor, ****, that they needed to order parts and that they would be in touch. At 3 weeks they had not called back, so I called them. It took that call and 2 more before I got a return call from ****. While waiting for the return call I spoke to someone from parts and they informed me that no parts showed as being ordered. When **** finally reached out to me she said the parts order had not been approved for the chair and that they were going to repair it. When I mentioned the plumbing, she was dumbfounded. She had no explanation and said she'd call me back and let me know what was going on. I asked when I could expect the call back. She said I'll call you within 2 days. Today is day 4 and I had to call them again. I'm still getting a run around and getting nothing resolved. Worst service department ever. I believe that the entire leadership team needs to be fired and replaced by people that are focused on taking care of customers. If you can't change the people around you, change the people around you. General RV you are terrible and will never get another ***** of my money. Not only do I not recommend you to any others. I strongly advise anyone considering the purchase of any RV, go any place but General RV in ***** *******. Unless you enjoy working with incompetent people. Went to purchase a new camper , was going well till had a sales associate push me . I was there for 4 hours and went and signed papers giving a $2000 down payment which I was told if the bank did not match my terms I would get that back.The bank came back with higher payment and higher interest rate. After I said no , got numerous phone calls trying to sweeten the deal. I declined and all I want is my money back . No matter how much I asked for my money, they keep telling me that I cant get it. Was sold an extended warranty that we were told covered everything top to bottom on our trailer. When the day came to use said warranty was told we needed to leave a deposit of $1230 then after the warranty company covered it we would reimbursed all but our deductible of $150. After picking it up they informed us that we werent getting any of that money back because after all the work was done our warranty only covered one thing and after that was subtracted from what the total cost was it magically came out to $1230 not a ***** more or less. After getting home with our trailer we noticed our spare tire was hit or they hit something with it when moving our trailer. The spare tire carrier was bent and unusable. I feel like we have been lied to the entire way thru the process of purchasing and servicing of our trailer.General RV Center Response

We bought a class A ************ from them. This was our 3 purchase from them. It was a lemon, in and out of the shop multiple times. within the first year we needed the floor fixed( they just glued the floating floor), all of the kitchen drawers caved in, water coming in through the slide on our first trip, replaced one slide, outlets not working, we still do not have complete use of our cameras, all of the bins were showing rust when purchased (they promised to scrape and spray them (they did not), doors on the outside of the rig wouldnt close or open easily, headlights were not working, couch came dismounted, cabinet hardware needed to be repaired, heat plate was falling off, there was a hole in our water tank and the list goes on. Right after our one year **** we went in and said water was still coming in. we recorded it. They agreed to make one final fix on the rig. They said they found a small hole and were gonna fit it. About 6 months later we took it in for regular service and were told we had roof damage and it wound be $16,000 to repair. They said we could file through insurance they do it all the time. We tried. The tech that originally looked at the rig and told us hed fix the small whole told my insurance company they told us there was a whole and we did not want to fix it. I have the paperwork that says they did fix ***** claim was denied. We went to a body shop that specializes in rvs and they said it was actually just a $300 repair. they filled it and reprotected the roof. General RV said $16,000Today it is exactly 3 years after the original purchase. we still have water coming in and we took our rig to a new shop since we cant trust General RV and now we are being told that since they glued down our floating floor to fix it it will be $30,000 to fix the floor that is now rolling up. We just had to have the microwave reinstalled because it was originally installed incorrectly and Fell off.General RV Center Response

I would give zero stars if it was possible ,General RV ***** has had my unit for over five months and have made every excuse known to man why its not done. Several times now they have told me all the warranty work was done, when I go and look at the unit nothing has been done. I have reached out to customer care@ .com and also Keystone the manufacturer, and still nothing has been done. *********************** and ********************* can not tell the truth!General RV Center Response

I purchased a new trailer at the ** show in January. I did add on items that I wanted. I was never given papers that we signed at the show. I went and signed in store and looked further at my finance papers after I got home. I did not get the amount they told me at the show for my trade in, and they also added almost $6,000 in delivery and set up fees that were never gone over. Worst place I have ever dealt with stay far away from general rv. Hid things on a toy hauler so we would t see it during looking over had slid out so you couldnt see the rot or the grudge in the floor. Took our 3000 deposit and then asked us for another 4500 to make deal work. We said no he said ok I will cover 3500 of it but cant go lower. So we looked at camper again found the rot and told him not interested because of the water damage **** right away the coward behind the counter says oh we will cover the other 1000 now so the deal has to go through. So you can make the deal happen so you can off load a rotted POs but if we dont see it you want another 1000 from us shady very shady company from top to bottomGeneral RV Center Response
