    Truck was serviced early October. Was quoted a rebuilt transmission and new torque converter verbally and agreed to price. No estimate/invoice was ever sent which by ******** law is mandatory due to the size/dollar value of repair. Was contacted by the owner to say that they couldn't find a new torque converter so they would be rebuilding my current one. A rebuilt torque converter is roughly half of new (around $500.00 difference). When truck was picked up they implied that a new torque converter was never part of the deal and no refund would be issued. They told me they wouldn't release my truck unless I signed their quote even though I was willing to sign the credit card slip for payment leaving me with no options as they had already had my truck for 2 weeks longer than they had originally told me it would take. They offered to possibly extend the warranty and look into a refund before we left however nothing has been done in the two weeks since truck was picked up. They admittedly never sent the estimate and only sent when I was there to pick up truck and remit final payment. By then it had been changed to show remanufactured torque converter. If ******** law had been followed I would've received an estimate and the complete lack of communication and deceit wouldn't have been an issue as everything would've been in writing as it should have been.
