    Hirrible service. Very difficult talking to a person on the phone. Call backs take hours. I dropped off my car for maintenance, did everythign they told me, and they never sent the code to the mechanic. Called support and got nowhere. Use another ********* provider. This firm doesn't take care of it's customers and their monthly fee is $100 more than other providers.***************, *******

    I hope this reply finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to address the concerns and confusion you expressed in your recent feedback.

    Firstly, I apologize for any inconvenience caused by the delay in obtaining the mechanic code from *******, the manufacturer. As you mentioned, they state on their website that it can take up to 4 hours to complete the necessary paperwork and obtain the clearance needed to shut off the device. I understand that this may have been frustrating for you, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.  I really wish Nationwide was able to provide this for you however the state does not allow the provider to , this has to come from the manufacturer.  

    Regarding the fees, I would like to clarify that we do not charge an additional fee for calibrations, unlike our competitors. We believe in providing transparent pricing, which is why we wrap all payments into one. This may give the illusion of higher fees, but in reality, we are often more affordable than our competitors.

    Furthermore, I want to highlight that our competitors typically charge $100 or more for the mechanic code that you received from our manufacturer for free. It's important to consider all the facts and do thorough research before passing judgment on a topic.

    I have had nothing but problems with this company. Hidden fees, no communication. Last December my vehicle's fuel pump went out and caused me to miss a calibration appointment. For that I got 6 months tacked on for a violation for missing a appointment! Between late fee Hidden fees unlock code fees I paid over 600 dollars in 2 months to drive for a month in February 2024! Now that my reduced fee has taken effect I don't have a schedule for my appointments anymore! So last Friday conveniently at 5pm the device goes off saying lock out in 5 days. My calibration is supposed to be every 2 months. Apparently not anymore. The nearest place for me to get it calibrated is 90 miles one way. This c*** is costing me every way lost work on top of it! Feels like excessive punishment. Borderline violating a person's 8th ammendment. And close to being extorted to drive again. I see why people give up.

    My experience with nationwide the handful of times I had to call in was absolutely wonderful. During a time that was very difficult I was always addresses with kindness, patience, and respect. I followed all of the advice and rules and my process was as smooth as it could have been. When I first had a system installed, the system was malfunctioning. I was nervous that I was doing something wrong so I called in and the tech had me scheduled the next day and it was replaced. Thank you to the nationwide interlock team for what you do.

    Terrible terrible company. Even worse employees. They are incompetent and more than likely on drugs and drunk themselves. Give your money to a different company these people are phoney clowns.

    The best unit, the absolute worst provider bar none. Im not even sure Nationwide is an actual company, but it definitely is an actual scam. Remember when they raised the cost of the lease, (obvious bologna and just *barely* legal, by the way) and increased fees in order to account for inflation? Uhh do they think were all middle school dropouts or something? Do they really think career economists dont get DUIs?! Did they really say that out loud to themselves, and think ****, theyll buy that. Itll be fine. They dont manufacture or produce anything, they dont transport anything, they have approximately zero additional associated costs from inflation. They outsource call centers and use a third party for EVERYTHING, is this even a real, legitimate business?! I had to contact them five times to get them to stop trying to bill me after I stopped going through their joke of a service. It took five months for them to realize I had my unit removed the five months previous, I had contacted a manager directly the first time it happened and it took four more calls and emails with random people until the manager finally got back to me, four months later. The fact that they are incompetent is a separate issue from how deeply ethically challenged this business is. Your customers did something stupid, yes and? Thats what the justice system was for, it did its job and thats why people need the interlock. That fact does not magically ***** this business some right to exploit people with addiction- who are often vulnerable, economically disenfranchised, and/or victims of abuse. The owner should not be viewing a philanthropic service through a corrupted lens of profiteering off of productive members of society with serious mental and physical health issues. These people need the interlock so they can go to work and fuel our civilization, they are the ones that ARE trying and ARE redeeming themselves. And the *** wants to take that away from them. Inhumane and shameful.

    I go through payment issues with them CONSTANTLY. They increase my amount without telling me so I get charged extra for not paying it, although Im set up on automatic payment. I got charged $75.00 contract renewal although I wasnt told anything about a new contract. They preset my calibration appointments then tell me Ill be charged if I have to reschedule any of them. I am going to have it transferred to another vehicle and found out part of the fee was for the new calibration which of course will be right after a calibration payment so one again Ill be charged double times. In 1 1/2 months theyve taken out ****** for calibration fees. Somehow theres always hidden fees or something extra. I pay 12 other bills with automatic payment set up every month and I NEVER have issues. Not EVER. This is the most shady business Ive ever worked with. Id go elsewhere in a heartbeat if I had a choice.

    Nationwide interlock is the worst company to have, many extra fees and device issues many ************ not to mention the run around to talk with customer service.When my attorney said dont go through them, I should have waited the extra week for smart start.Blessings

    I had to replace battery in my vehicle and the device gave me a violation when the car was never on. The device had to be reset and they charge me a violation fee. I was told that they would review the matter and see if they could give me a credit. They never returned my call with a decision. At my next appointment for a download they called and said I owe the violation fee. **************** is very rude. Hold time on the phone is long. Waited 2 weeks to get the monthly download schedule. I had to continuously call to get the information. I wouldnt recommend this company. Stay far away from them . Payment increased without notification or an explanation

    Thank you for your review **********************. The ***************** determines a violation on the interlock, not Nationwide Interlock. The state does have legislation stating that a "tamper circumvent" is a violation. We do charge for violations as the device has to be physically reset at a licensed service center. The fee that is charged coincides with the fees that Nationwide Interlock pays the service center for the work. We do have a high call volume on certain days however, we do allow customers to text our "online software" and or choose the option for "us" to call you back when you are calling in.
