  I purchased a dishwasher from REMOVEDon 11-6-2025. I was told by REMOVEDI would be contacted from installation by By-Tor. I did have to wait 10 days before By-Tor sent text message with date. I confirmed and was scheduled for 11-21. I received another text later in week indicating the same day 11-21 with time 12-4. At 2:30 REMOVEDcalled my phone and indicated he was on way to me. When REMOVEDarrived, he came into my house and checked location of my old dishwasher and decided to use front door. He was very thorough explaining everything he did and quickly removed old dishwasher and took to truck. He brought in new dishwasher and allowed me time to clean up dirt and debris from old space and installed new dishwasher. He then instructed me on using the dishwasher. I’m sorry other people especially with doors had poor service. But my dishwasher install was smoother than I expected. If I was to offer some improvement, it would be that REMOVED’s should explain their installation is running 2 weeks behind. Then the homeowner could have called a different company for the installation.

I do see that you purchased on 11.6.25 and your product was not received and ready to schedule until 11.14.25 and we confirmed your installation the same day that it went ready to schedule and then we installed on 11.21.25 and what you experienced in all honesty is exactly how 99% or our interactions and installations go. You probably saw that we install 70,000- 80,000 jobs a year and yes, we have had a few hiccups along the way, but the few poor reviews that we do have are so minimal and we are thankful for that. Over the last 4 years we have installed about 300,000 jobs and we only have a handful of bad experiences; we will take those and learn from them because we are always looking to improve in all areas. Once again, thank you and we hope that you enjoy your appliance!

  Purchased an exterior door from REMOVED. REMOVEDcontracts By-Tor for installations in REMOVEDand western REMOVEDand By-Tor hires subcontractors. Five months after installation dead bolt wouldn't work - discovered holes for the strike plates of the door knob and dead bolt were not lined up correctly. Discovered that the strike plate for the dead bolt belonged to an inside door - not the strike plate provided with the dead bolt. Super short screws were used for dead bolt strike plate - not the screws provided. One of the short screws didn't hold because the hole for the strike plate was messed up. The weather strip at the bottom of the door got damaged because the threshhold wasn't adjusted correctly. Incorrect replacement parts were ordered twice. It took 3 months to get all the problems worked out.

We gave him and his crew more training to show them that this quality of work does not align with our high standards. They have taken this to heart and are improving nicely.   This place is HORRIBLE with its scheduling....I Cant believe REMOVEDuses them for Installation.I will NOT purchase anything from REMOVED Again! By Tor doesn't call you to schedule...they text-When you text them back,They do not respond.Ive been waiting over 2 weeks just to get my dishwasher scheduled to be Installed.This place should be shut down- They make Excuses for ALL their Bad Reviews..And There are LOTS of them. Scheduling is NOT a Hard job...These people Can't even do that Correctly- Very UNSKILLED. DO NOT USE This Company...If u order appliances from a BIg Store that doesn't do their own Installations- Make sure they DO NOT use this Company.

  While I do apologize for the auto call & text system, we have no choice but to use it. We like to provide insight because on the surface it appears overly simple when in fact it is anything but simple, so here is why we must use an auto call service, we schedule 350 - 400 jobs a day and the majority of these calls are not confirmed on the first attempt, even if they were the average call to schedule a client takes approximately 3 minuets to schedule, that is over 17 - 20 hours of just scheduling if everyone was scheduled on the first attempt. It takes on average of 3 attempts to schedule each client. This averages out to almost 53 - 60 hours per day just to keep up. The reality is that the vast majority of large companies use an auto call/text system to schedule their clients, it is honestly the only way we can provide an affordable service to the client. In this case, we did manual call and schedule, we also had to reschedule due to a site issue where a plumber was needed to resolve a plumbing issue. Rest assured, all our team wants to do is to get all clients scheduled and installed because that is how everyone from the scheduler to the installer pays their bills. Please be kind when working with the associates and technicians as this method is what gets the best results at the end of the day.

  REMOVEDis totally crazy using this company. I have been waiting for over 10mos. for them to come and install my front door correctly. I have been rescheduled for service for 10 months now they cancel at the last minute literally call after they are suppose to be there. They have no regard for your lost wages from taking off work and then they never show, this has happened 8 times. Filing with the REMOVED. This company needs to be shut down.

  Hi Mrs. REMOVEDwe are sorry that you had this negative experience with us, REMOVEDand the manufacturer. From researching your job there were opportunities across the board. Bad product, missing materials and issues with the installation, hence why we took action and moved away from this installer. Obviously, you are frustrated with how this transpired, and we validate your frustration, and it is clear that your frustration has led to an extremely harsh review with exaggerations and an inappropriate request. I do ask that you are kind today to the installer that is scheduled to service the door. Please work with him and his team so we can get you taken care of. At the end of the day that is all any of us want. Sadly, out of the 80,000-ish installs we do a year, there are some negative experiences, we work hard to foresee these but we obviously cannot do that perfectly. We are extremely aggressive behind the scenes at supporting and resolving issues for our client's and that is why we only have a 1% dissatisfaction rate. We are working on eliminating that.

  These people installed a security door on my home and did a horrible job then lied about it to REMOVED. I reached out to these people and to REMOVED over the last few weeks and nothing has been resolved if possible try to avoid doing business with them or REMOVEDall they have done is lie and give me the runaround.

  Thank you for reaching out. I looked very deeply into this complaint and from talking to the manufacturer both types of security doors were installed correctly and according to manufacturer's specs. I see that there were 4 work orders that was submitted in order to address the issues that you brought to the table. In every instance all of the same findings were consistent by each technician. I did see that you complained in a couple of work orders that there was a gap at the bottom of the security door and just so you know that door does not come with a sweep to seal the bottom of the storm door to the threshold of the entry door. This is not a By-Tor issue nor is it the installer's issues that installed the door. This is 100% manufacturer related. Just so we set the record straight, no one from By-Tor, the subcontractor or REMOVEDhas lied. If you are not happy with the door that you chose, please address that with the retailer and not file a fraudulent listing with the BBB. Please remember, we have full visibility to all side, and we see and know the truth, including false claims such as this.

  BEWARE OF This Company their contractors are HORRIBLE. I purchased 2 Storm doors on August 1st they scheduled an install on Sept 10th they damaged the doors hung them up crooked damaged both of our door jams and left a mess on my front porch.We callled By-Tor they were no help the receptionist hung up on me. After all of these weeks we finally got them to come back and remove both doors. DONT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY LOWES NEED TO FIRE THEM. I’m going to print all of these reviews and send them to Lowe’s corporate office.

  Hi REMOVED,I did review this entire case, and I did see some valid concerns, hence why we partnered with another installer to adjust the security door and the initial installer had also ordered the part that they accidentally miscut. With that said, that doesn't give anyone the right to verbally abuse anyone else over the phone. Our associate that answered the phone did not deserve the way that you treated her, nor does anyone else. She did the right thing by ending the call due to the way that you handled it. There has never been an instance where we have not successfully addressed and resolved any issue that has come up due to an error by one of the subcontractors that we partner with. In the future I hope that you are more kind with any other company that you deal with.

  Oct 2025. -0 stars for this company. They are contracted through REMOVED. We purchased a total of 4 doors through REMOVED. Storm and entry doors. First day of installation - a year ago 2024- sent "one" guy for the install. He arrived around 8:30am. He started on the kitchen storm and entry doors and DID NOT leave our house until pretty much 12hrs later. Kitchen entry door installed. Trim around the entry door looked like a 10yr old installed it. He totally ruined the new door knob for the entry door. We have no idea what he did, but the knob would come off when you opened the door. The storm door - ugh... he installed it swinging out incorrectly and realized that he installed wrong so he changed it with leaving drill holes in the brand new framing. The door would not close unless you pulled it hard or even open unless you kick it open. Strike plate was not installed as well as the bottom actuator. Guy thought he was going to return to our house. Haha no way. My husband told By-Tor not to send that installer back to our house and to send two installers for our front storm/entry doors. Weeks later the front doors were installed without issue by two installers. One of the guys took pics of the kitchen doors to document the issues and what needed fixed. After many calls & text with By-Tor along with correspondence with REMOVED, August of 2025 someone finally came out to fix all issues with the kitchen doors. We are still with out the strike plate for the storm door . It has been almost 2mths since the installer was here so we will see. Our first mistake was paying 100% tor the doors. We had no leverage and here we are a year later and still not not 100%, complete. It should have never taken this long to correct issues that BY-TORs inexperienced installer created. The lack of response and urgency is unacceptable. And REMOVEDis accountable as well. It is their contractor. REMOVEDshould have been the ones making the calls to By-Tor not us!

In doing a deep dive into this, you are correct, REMOVEDdidn't submit part of your first order which caused some delays, then there was a door that was ordered incorrectly, and we moved away from the installer that did your first door for this very reason. That subcontractor is no longer installing due to his lack of skillset. He misled us with his references and documentation. Very sorry that you were negatively impacted by this. Fortunately, we are an extremely proactive company that monitors and reacts quickly to issues such as this, hence why we have a 90% approval rating with REMOVEDinstalls on average per year.

  ZERO STARS- worst experience of my life. The supervisor was extremely unprofessional and verbally abusive to me. I was lied to and overcharged. They REFUSED to provide an itemized statement!!

We always appreciate information in any form because it reminds us that we always need to spot check and review the contract that our clients have with REMOVED, our processes and procedures along with our employees as well. With that said, I have review all of the above along with the recorded calls and nowhere were we able to find any inappropriate actions or conversations that our employees had with you or any of the other calls that we reviewed in order to get a proper cross sample of what has transpired over the last few weeks. As far as the "itemized statement" is concerned, that is correct, no repeatable company will provide this. This is standard practice in many divisions of the trades. The reassuring aspect is that our prices are right in line with all reputable companies in the areas where we do business. We do market research to ensure that we are not too high or too low with our prices because both ends of the spectrum are detrimental to the industry. Hopefully you can appreciate a company that knows its demographics and upholds those standards to a high level, like we do.

  Had them install 2 doors from REMOVEDworst experience I ever had they should not be allowed to install doors both doors were unable to be used Pella had to fix one because they did not have a clue how to install would not open when they left they left packing on the door installed door lock backwards other door had a 1/2 inch gap under sill plate 3 month before it was completed after they started 6 1/2 months after it was ordered REMOVEDwill not stand by their installation

  Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to hear about this negative experience you had with the retail store and the manufacturer and from conducting an investigation into this job we see that the manufacturer sent damaged product, and the store also did not give us all of the product needed to complete the installation on the original visit. Also, from reviewing the detailed pics everything was installed according to the manufacturer's specs. The data also shows that we did stand by the installation by returning and resolving the issues from the store and manufacturer.

  The men who came to install a new dishwasher were timely. They were professional and explained the process and adjustments needed replacing copper piping with up to date supplies. They thoroughly checked the operation of the new machine. The machine was not draining normally and they went over all of the remaining old copper pipe and found (and showed me) a section that the diameter of the pipe was reduced by buildup of material that was solidly adhering to the interior of the pipes. Overall a great install.
