            I ordered a dishwasher from Loewe’s on 6/28. By-tor was contracted to install it through Loewe’s. By-tor texted me once with a date to install it (never asking me if it would work). I attempted to reschedule, but they did not answer my text. I had no way to contact them directly. I called Loewe’s greater than three times over a week and a half period, and they contacted by-tor on my behalf. I was told by Loewe’s By-Tor was working on scheduling my installation, and was told multiple times by tor would contact me by vaious dates. Each time, the date passed and by tor did not contact me. I was told by Loewe’s the delay was caused from by tor working to accomodate the potential dates for installation i requested. I told loewes I would take by tor’s first availabke installation date, but they could not even provide me a date or general timeframe when i would be contacted. Frustrated after almost two weeks, I cancelled my order. If you read other BBB complaints on this company, you will find similiar issues.

            ***** from by-*** quoted me a water heater instalation of $1,509. Lowes contracts them for instalation. The quote on the phone included an expansion tank which I asked if was neccessary and was told yes. The also qouted a different water heater than I originally wanted specifically because it was need to install the expansion tank. Long story short they installed a $430 water tank in 1-2 hrs with no expansion tank and charged me the quote from *****s phone call. When I opened a claim through lowes by-tor and ***** basically lied and didnt provide an itimized statement as requested. I will never buy from lowes again because of this and will not have any work done throuh by-tor. This company has zero integrity and is a stain on lowes reputation.

            Hi ******, Thank you very much for reaching out. I have sent this off to the division leadership in that department to investigate this. We will pull the phone recordings and get to the bottom of this. We always want to do what is right and that is blaringly apparent with our record of service over 34 years in the trades and our top service awards in the trades. We care about people because we also rely on companies like us that provide services that we need when things come up that we cannot do ourselves and we expect the same as you do.

            After extensive research we found that the quote/contract and the water heater that was installed all matched. We did give him back the money for the expansion tank due the fact that it was not needed to meet code requirements, which the licensed plumber in that jurisdiction verified. We also found that the client has paid his bill in full to satisfy the contract.
