  I ordered a two-desk bundle from Transformer Table after seeing their products advertised as premium, multifunctional furniture. While the desks appeared well-made, I encountered a major compatibility issue due to design limitations that were not disclosed on the product page. My monitors were incompatible with the desk setup because the mount design doesnt allow rear-facing cablessomething you cant discover without attempting installation.I attempted to return the desks, but was blocked by a return policy that required the items to be unused, unassembled, in original packaging, and returned at my own expense, with no guarantee of refund since all returns are at their discretion. When I raised concerns, Transformer Table became hostile and uncooperative, even after I proposed a partial refund to resolve the matter amicably.After multiple attempts to communicate fairly, I had no choice but to dispute the charge through my bank. Transformer Table then escalated the situation with threatening emails, demands to reverse the dispute, and aggressive pickup arrangementsall while the chargeback was still under formal review. Their tone was dismissive and intimidating throughout.I eventually won the dispute through my bank, but the process was exhausting. Im sharing this experience to warn others: if you encounter any issue with their products, you will likely receive no meaningful support. Their return policy is vague, discretionary, and favors the companynot the customer.

  The customer service was abysmal. I wish we read the reviews on Reddit and elsewhere before purchasing from them. We ordered in October and received our items 5-6 months later. We ordered over $11k worth of products from them. All of their marketing for the products said "receive by Thanksgiving" and then "receive by Christmas" so we thought we would have the tables in time for the holidays. They kept delaying our shipment every month. We had to call them and wanted to cancel our order altogether but they told us it would definitely arrive the next month. That was also a lie. We couldn't dispute with our credit card company either because it was past the dispute window. Their customer service were slow to respond and it took three tries each time to even get someone to respond to our inquiries about where our products were. We spent a fortune on temporary tables and chairs for the holidays because we didn't have tables and chairs the entire time. The products, once we finally received them, are beautiful but get damaged easily and are poorly built (easily chipped, scratch easily, etc.). The company they use to ship and build the items (Metropolitan) are also very unprofessional. They damaged the console when they were building it. We didn't reach out to the company nor Transformer Table just to avoid dealing with them. They also did not finish building any of our outdoor tables because they didn't plan accordingly or make the time to do so. During one of the deliveries, they damaged our fence and didn't even tell us. Thankfully we had video evidence because they tried to say they didn't cause the damages. Overall, horrible experience.

  Transformer table, ************** table.I had been looking at this table for years because I have a small ski condo where I am retiring. It has the potential to just be me and my dogs or my daughters and all of their friends to ski. So I wanted something that would be small most of the time and then open up when needed. I had the opportunity to do that for spring break this week. It takes minutes to open it up. It is so convenient to have the leaves for the table in the coffee table and I use the bench in the hallway but open it up when I have the table opened up. The white bark that I bought is beautiful and fits right in with the mountain location.The website was easy to use, the purchasing options online were easy to use, payment options were helpful. Communication was very good with questions I had about the items and making sure I was satisfied with the purchase.
