I contacted *********************** in ********* on Stadium about a p0208 and p0308(fuel injector circuit stuck open on cylinder 8 and cylinder 8 misfire) engine codes on my 2008 Chrysler 300c AWD. I explained to them that I had already replaced the **** fuel injector, both spark plugs and ignition coil as well as done a leak down test and compression test with no results . I suspected an electrical problem. As a mechanic myself (although not practicing) I am very well versed in automobiles so I kind of had an inkling of what the issues SHOULD have been if this were a normal situation. I take it to ******* and drop it off with an understanding of $100.00 for diagnosis. When they called me to let me know theyre about to work on my vehicle, ****** tries to tell me its now $170. He verified that the first hour was $100 but it may take longer than that , and that he will call me once they reach the 1 hour **** to let me know what theyd found and to get the go ahead for more diagnosing if it was going to cost more. They never called, charged me $170 and their solution to my problem was to just UNPLUG ALL OF MY o2 SENSORS ! They told me my car was running fine and its ready for me to pick up. When I picked it up its smoking , missfiring so much worse than it was and now it cuts off on me at stop lights . Running a vehicle without o2 sensors is not only illegal it will make the engine destroy itself. And they flat out told me that yes we unplugged all 4 of your o2 sensors and adjusted your fuel trims and it runs better that way. Dont you want your car to run better? That was his words to me verbatim! This imwas my first AND LAST time going to *******. My car is in such terrible condition mechanically now I cant even drive it.
