This complaint is directly related to the poor service at Brown Motors in Petoskey. This is not a new problem when taking your car in to get serviced. I had actually had quit going there 6 years ago and stopped buying vehicles by Ford, Chrysler just because of the service. But my daughter purchased a jeep commander and the HVAC drain was plugged and was leaking on the passenger floor. we actually took it to a Chevy dealer to have them look at it. The appointment went well but they felt the dash would need to come off to access it and recommended we go to a Ford dealer. My heart sank but I thought its been 6 years maybe they are better. Appt scheduled at 10am on a Monday. No response from anybody that day. called at 3pm and left message. No call back. Called Tuesday at 2:30pm and left message. No call back. when I got out of work at 5p my husband and I drove there. My car was still in parking lot. went inside and they said they haven't looked at it. Wednesday another repeat. my husband drove by and my car was still in parking lot. I could have been driving it to work if they weren't even going to look at it. My husband went in and that afternoon and got the keys with plans we would go to another city. they called alter and gave all these outrageous prices with out even looking at. The seats would need to be removed in addition to the dash, the air conditioner and many other items would need to be replaced and would cost thousands of dollars. My husband watched a video and took the dash off and unplugged the drain and fixed it within 3 hours and we didn't need to remove the seats or replace any parts. Just need some air blown through to unplug it.
