    The management is very criticle of their residents polictial preferences, calling them democrats (as if thats a dirty name) because their toilet broke and was asking management to fix it. I have never stayed here and never will. Just remember what one person experiences we all have that experience, fire your manager! This may be a family owned business but they do not treat their customers well at all!

    Came for a 3 night stay. Hotel is dirty to begin with. Upon leaving the second day when we came back the beds had been made indicating an employee came in. A few hours later we realized my husbands ring was missing after we had put it up. I searched the room and found it hidden under a piece of furniture far from where it originally was. Clearly hidden to come back to. When my husband spoke to the manager they refused to refund for even 1 night and trespassed us from the hotel. Do not stay here unless you are ok with be robbed from. Horrible hotel and even worse management. 0 stars

    Worst experience in any hotel ever stayed in in any state. Had to call several times and then wait on hold 23 minutes just to get someone to help me. When I explained EXACTLY what kind of room I was looking into, three beds, preferably 2 bedrooms and most importantly was it to be on the water. I said lakeside on that brief call so many times it felt like I was maybe making them feel like they didn’t know how to do their job. But water was that important. She said they do have a room available like that, told me the name of that room and I could book online. I said I don’t want to book online, “because I don’t like booking through a third party. can’t you help me”? She got frustrated and said I guess but you can go right on our website not a third party. If you need me to help then it’ll be a while longer on hold. So I said forget it I’ll go online to their website. That is exactly what I did but somehow I magically got switched to booking.com without realizing. When we arrived the hotel wasn’t even in the same side of the road as the lake omg. I was not happy. And to find out we paid $300 a night for two nights to look out into a parking lot!!!!! They said they was nothing they can do because i booked with booking.com I was floored because I knew I didn’t ….but sure enough it was right on the paperwork. The hotel was run down, dirty and water park was gross the kids didn’t even use it. The room smelled, toilet ran constantly and shower filled up with water every time someone took a shower. Absolutely terrible. The gal at the front desk was kind. I could not believe they lied to me about being in the water. What a scam. The most important part to us. I justified paying $300 a night because we could sit on the balcony looking at the lake

    -0 stars. So disgusting. I tried to get my money back. Was told no. What a horrible experience. ?? every post you see on here is true. Probably worse. Run as far as you can.

    We originally booked we called the hotel directly & the person let us request where the room was at & how "beautiful" the room was.She told us we were all set 1st floor with a room connecting to the pool area.We were not told what time check in time was. So we arrived at 3pm to check in only to find out we aren't allowed to check in until 5pm.When asked if the front desk clerk to just check &see if our room was ready she said I know it's not because I haven't had any rooms called in clean yet At 3pm no room have been cleaned? We left &came back at 5pm.The front desk agent made zero eye contact, was monotone, not even a crack of a fake smile to greet guests. We were told we were not booked into the room we were told because the people who answer calls is "just an answering service". They shouldnt be able to promise people a room they request. You cannot book a room with a walk out to the pool because they don't exist.Guests had to sign a waver to use the Waterpark and get wrist bands. We wanted to just look at the Waterpark to see if we even wanted to use it and basically got attacked my the pool bouncer saying we can't be in without wrist bands.We were dressed in our blue jeans so obviously we weren't going to jump into the yellow pool water. While walking to our room, we passed holes in the walls with mold & probably asbestos, peeling wallpaper.Once inside our room it was gross.The screen door was broken & didn't slide, the phone didn't work, the remote control didn't have a back, the mold so much mold all over. The front door lock was broken. We brought our own sheets, blankets, &pillows. I'm surprised we didn't use the whole can of lysol but at some point we couldn't breath in the lysol cloud so we had to stop.The balcony and a had slope to it made it feel like you were going to roll off. The housekeeping closests with supplies& cleaner were left unlocked for anyone to get into. The game room had a window open with no screen so a child could have easily fell out!
