Our relationship with All Star Mechanical began with ***** coming out to diagnose my ** problem. He tested the system and diagnosed it as low on refrigerant likely due to a leak. We asked to get a quote on replacing the ** and the entire HV** system. The furnace was a 25 year old Trane. The air filter was 1in thick and struggled to blow through a non-MERV filter, and I wanted cleaner air for the health of my family, especially since wildfires aren't going away anytime soon. We also wanted a whole house humidifier to assist the Vornado units we run 24/7 in the winter.***** presented us with a variety of options for upgrading my HV** system, not trying to sell me a system too large and expensive for our needs or climate, then explaining how everything works and how it works together to make our home efficient, safe, clean, and comfortable.The installation team was fantastic. They were scheduled for a 2 day installation and over performed installing the entire system in one day. ******* and the 2 Nicks were great! Within 2 hours of installing the General Aire M** high efficiency air cleaner we noticed the air felt and smelled cleaner, in spite of the poor air advisory warning for that day.Finally, ***** buttoned the system up completely by running updated thermostat wiring and relocated my thermostat so the new system is compatible with my ADT Z-Wave ADC -T2000 monitored thermostat (my request)! Throughout the entire job, ***** stayed in touch, either by email, phone, or text to make sure everything met or exceeded our expectations.They are definitely All Stars!
