All service providers, particularly those in the healthcare industry need to be held accountable. Unfortunately, nowadays, consumers and patients are left feeling as though they have no choice when accepting poor customer service. I refuse to accept this and believe it is my personal responsibility to share my experiences with the public. Elite plastic surgery is unprofessional, incompetent, and rude. I was referred to the office for a non-cosmetic surgical procedure (pre-cancer removal) but decided to undergo a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure on the same day. (Lip fillers, no big deal) I was asked to provide payment prior to my procedures and did so at the front desk. After my procedures, the nurse told me I was free to go and specifically said "you do not need to stop at the front desk" Later, I received voicemail from the office demanding payment that they "forgot" to collect. They also forgot to provide an invoice or any documentation regarding the service for which they were demanding payment. There was even a debate on what service I actually received. Worse, I called with questions regarding my recovery and follow-up appointment and I was promptly transferred to the billing department without any concern for my medical questions. I wasn't even given a follow-up appointment for the cosmetic procedure they were demanding payment for over the phone. My experience with Dr. Martin for the medically necessary procedure was as expected. As far ad the administrative staff, billing procedures, and overall patient customer service.....a complete disaster. My husband is a surgeon with a very professional office and staff....this would NEVER happen in his office. NEVER. He's been in practice for over 20 years and there has never been such a distasteful incident in all his years of practice. The staff I dealt with at elite plastic surgery should be fired immediately. They do not belong in a medical practice. I will never recommend this office. Never.
