Rented a property on VRBO which was NOT as it was described in listing. Complained immediately to rental agency Agape Vacation Rentals (which is owned by Agape Global Investments Corp) Owner of both is *****************. The rental itself was dirty and unsafe. Windows were painted shut. Other windows that did open were either broken and had no screens. Hence, bugs were in the home. Unsafe because anyone could walk in the first floor windows with no screen. Several windows had to be held open with a stick. One was held upon with a butter knife. The shower was dirty, and there was a moldy shower mat. The back door lock had been kicked in. The back screen was ripped and hole allowed my dog to escape. Both of these issues were unsafe. The was a LARGE hole in the back of the home which literally allowed animals to live under the house. The hole was filled with debris, leaves, and remnants of animals. Again unsafe. The interior itself did not match the pictures shown in the listing. ***** said he would give me a partial refund and credited my card with $189.71. I paid $688.48. This is unacceptable. I was out of the property within 12 hrs which entitles me to refund under VRBO terms. I was unable to shower there. I could not sleep knowing someone could crawl through an unsecured window. While AC which was not expected, I did expect to be able to open windows safely. Temp was 81 degrees due to windows that were painted shut or had no screen. Random screens were on floor in porch, and they did not fit windows. Also, why would I have to put them in? They were filthy and broken. I want the remainder of my money returned to me for false advertising. I had to leave and find other accommodations in a nearby town. The owner is unresponsive now and is holding my money for a 2 night stay. While I was there 12 hrs., I did not use any of the items there, did not shower, used my own blanket and pillow, and vacated the premises as soon as possible. This agency committed fraud via false pics.
