I would never tell anyone else to use A-Best in fact I have told many people of my experience with them and not to use them for new or replacement windows!I had them install all new windows in my house. Within 5 years after installation the vinyl between the panes of glass blistered and bubbled on every window that faced in the sun. I have some that fog up between the glass. I called and spoke with an employee who told me they had received a bad batch of vinyl and would replace the windows that were bad. Soon the owner of A-Best came to my house and told me that they were supposed to be like that and he would not repair any of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!I know that these windows are defective and they will not stand behind them. For me the customer I loose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For insulated glass related issues, there is an industry standard threshold for warranty replacement. To explain the threshold for replacement glass further, there needs to be evidence of one of following occurrences: 1) There is condensation occurring between the two panes of glass. This signifies a failure in the seal.2) The seal has fluctuated into the daylight of the window (where you can see through) beyond the industry standard.The material that is utilized for the seal between the glass is meant to fluctuate to allow air pressure tolerance throughout the seasons. If your insulated glass units meet the warranty guidelines within 20 years of purchase, we replace it at no cost.
