RE: Loan no ********** In early March, I received a notice from TD Bank (dated 3/4/24 and attached) asking me to provide them with proof of insurance for my home. The notice stated that it was the second and final notice. I had not receive a previous notice before. Regardless, I complied and on 3/15 I sent the requested documents via email AND fax to TD Bank. Please see the attached proof. Yesterday (4/2/24) I received another letter attached informing me that TD Bank informing me that they did not receive the documents and have obtained hazard insurance for my property. I have made multiple attempts to contact them with no success. I go through a maze of voice prompts and not able to get to a live agent. I'm asking for TD Bank to acknowledge receipt of my hazard insurance and cancel the insurance that they obtained for me as I have such insurance ******.Business Response

I went to the bank in order to get a bank affidavit so I can follow the police report for fraud and identity theft with the precinct. When I went there the branch manager informed me that because my student checking account was closed January 3, 2024. I am no longer going to be able to get a bank affidavit. Back in October when I have visited the branch because I could not log into my account, one of the employees name ***** had informed me that the account was closed in the amount of $59,000. because of this, even when I had asked to dispute the charges, I was told that I could not because the account was closed so I had asked instead for them to put a fraud investigation on the account which I was never notified if the had ever completed the investigation until about two weeks ago at the beginning of March 2024. I never received anything in the mail or any kind of email stating or notifying me of anything. Because of the misinformation of ***** telling me the account was closed instead of blocked I wasnt able to dispute the charges at that time which wouldve been been able to provide me with a bank affidavit so I can file a Police report for fraud identity theft. Because this misinformation Ive also not only miss my window to file any disputes, it now hinders my ability to follow the police report because police officers will not take and they detect the squad will not take my report, but our a bank affidavit. I had this information back in October 2023. That account was blocked. I couldve went ahead and filed a dispute against the charges. Now I am seeking to have a revision where I can open up the account again and file the dispute so I can get the bank affidavit or someway in which TD Bank can be held liable to give me a bank affidavit so I can file this police reportBusiness Response

I had fraudulent transactions on my bank account and never received any notification from the bank if I was the one making these transactions. I noticed it when I had $3,500 taken from my bank account and then I noticed that it started on February the 8th and it added up to $1,300 I filed a fraud claim with the bank and it took them less than two weeks to make a decision and they are basically saying that I made these transactions I didnt get a chance to submit my letter or police report of what happened Because I also had Identity Theft and Tax fraud happen to me These scammers got into my ****** account and got a hold of my user name and password to my *********************** I feel like no one is listening to me I want all of my money permanently returned to meBusiness Response

Business refusing to assist with late charges that have been charged incorrectly to account. I have talked to their representatives whom they have call you repeatedly (more than 10 times a day). They won't leave a voicemail and the collectors aren't able to assist with late fees. I have spoken to 3 representatives about my issues and filed an online submission for the removal of the late charges and that went unanswered. I did send a previous BBB compliant and no call just a letter stating they refuse to look at my account and charges.In April 2023 I didn't make a payment (I wasn't aware that a min pmt was due each month) I have paid $150 monthly which was more than due to pay off within the 24 months.That is the one $29 then I filed an online dispute of the $29 charge so I could get the correct balance due. While waiting to hear back they then charged me another $29 Dec late fee. Then a $40 late fee for *** not sure how that is legal to change the late fee without notice but if I don't owe why should I pay. I would never do business this way or use this company again. I wanted to resolve but they are not willing to do so and I refuse to pay fees I don't feel that I owe.Business Response

On June of 2023 I asked for an extension on my loan. They agreed, since June of 2023 I faxed over the documents they requested every single month and every single month they claimed they never received them. And shared me late fees and added interest on my loan.In January of 2024. I finally gave up on the extension and paid my now past due and current due bill.Shortly after that I lost my job. And was promptly informed that because I'm out of work I'm no longer eligible for extensions.Now that I am back working again you guys want a high level of extortion money to approve my extension. Yet since June of 2023 I paid late fees and all extra charted because for 8 months you guys couldn't find paperwork that I faxed over every single month.I would like the cost of the interest for this extension paid by you guys.Business Response
