      This post is about Woodbine Equipment and Supply in the hopes that other customers / potential customers will see it and hopefully not be deceived and fleeced out of hundreds of dollars in unauthorized repairs as I was.
      Beware of this place. I have been taking my mower here for 5 years. Last year I dropped it off for a spring service. When I arrived to pick it up, the bill was way over what a regular service would have cost. They advised me one of the blades was chipped and they replaced all 3 blades without authorization from me. I was told someone would call me and explain what happened (why they didn’t call to get authorization for additional repairs) but I didn’t receive a call. I didn’t make a big deal about it.
      This year I dropped the mower off for a spring service and a new battery. I get a call that the mower was done and the bill was $500+. Again, this is higher than a typical spring service (+ new battery). I stopped in to pick up the mower and asked the older gentleman working who authorized the additional repairs ? (They replaced pulleys and a belt etc that wasn’t authorized by me). He said he didn’t know and would get “Tim”. Tim comes out and in sum tells me that they are busy, he sees something wrong and for me to get such a quick turn around he made the additional repairs without my authorization. This was 2 years in a row of the same deceptive business practices. Tim offered to look for my old parts to put back on, which I said was ridiculous. Tim went on to tell me that if I brought the mower back again, he wouldn’t be able to give me the “red carpet” treatment and turn around time I was enjoying since he would have to wait for me to authorize additional repairs. No apology, no customer service from “Tim”. His parting words were “maybe you should take it back to (where I bought it) and they can take care of you”. He put down the bill and my receipt and walked in the back of the business.
      Complete lack of customer service!
