Lillian Hardie runs and owns Brian Safe Haven. A non profit organization that has a pantry as well as various services to help the public. Her organization was recommended by a friend. Her task was to find housing for my children and me. She asked for first months rent and security deposit. On April 12, 2022 I did zelle Brian Safe Haven $1,400. On April 13,2022 I did Zelle Brian Safe Haven another $1,400. After that time I did communicate with Lillian ******* Eventually meeting her in person in early August. At that meeting Ms Hardie did tell me that the landlord may request an additional second month's rent since I would not be working consistently at the time of my move, except for remote work that I do. Thereafter Ms. Hardie messaged me and said she found a house for me, and the rent would be $1,500. On August 5, 2022, I did Zelle Brian Safe Haven an additional $1,500. Going forward there have been many excuses made by Ms. Hardie as to why I could not move at the time. I eventually asked for a refund. She did promise the refund within 7-10 days but did not follow through. She then promised a refund on November 15, 2022 but did not provide it. Instead, she has blocked my number from being able to text or call her.
