******** ads have prompted a free ******** week but the club later said there's a charge. This is highly deceitful and now then have all my info. The company is only trying to gather customer data and misleading people. Illegal advertising and highly fraudulent.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/30/2023

    Good afternoon,

This ad is from F45 Headquarters; not our specific entity (we are an F45 Franchise). The ad was for a specific week of workouts (******** Week) running from Oct 2 - 8 2023, that was free. At all other times, prospects pay for a trial at the studio. This person never purchased a trial with us and we have no record of them in our system.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:  we tried to attend classes but the franchisee never allowed us to do so. This business/franchishee is fraudulently using fake promotions to lure customers! And then they change the promotion!  I'm glad the BBB has this on file so everyone knows this place is bad!  If the location chooses to make this right, please email me with your suggestion about helping us

    Regards,

I ended my membership with F45 due to an injury I got from working out at their gym. I ended it on 12/1/22 via email but I never received confirmation. Instead, they have continually tried to charge my credit card on a daily basis even though I have not been there since and had a weekly membership. I had to cancel my credit card from fear of being charged.

Our records show we have not charged this former member or made any attempts.  We are contacting our software company to investigate as the complaint to see why her records are showing otherwise.  The delay in response was to vet the source since we have never been contacted directly by the Better Business Bureau.  Thank you

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
