      My experience with Chesapeake Waste has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. I cancelled my trash service in January, yet they still charged me in February for service I did not authorize. When I contacted them, I was told a refund check would be mailed in Aprilwhich never came.After several calls and follow-ups, they claimed on May 15 that the refund check was finally sent. Its now May 23, and I still havent received anything. Every step of this process has been delayed or ********** make matters worse, they took my trash can away a month before my paid service ended. I called to report this on February 24, but now they claim I never reported it and are refusing to offer any compensation for the lost month of service I paid for and didnt receive.Chesapeake Waste has demonstrated a complete lack of accountability and customer service. Theyve kept my money for months, failed to deliver on multiple promises, and denied clear facts. I would strongly caution anyone considering this companyyou deserve better.

      Chesapeake Waste cheated me on the payment I made to them as I usually pay the yearly fee in full. Big mistake to pay them in full. As I retired I felt that I now had the time to bring my garbage to the landfill weekly. I called to inform them and this was accepted. I was told that once the can was picked up I would be refunded my $180.00. WRONG!! I was told that per "my contract" which was NEVER sent to me, NOR DID I SIGN, that the payment will not be returned unless I move to another location. Always had to call to inform that my garbage was not picked up on specified day and always received an attitude for calling. For them to KEEP MY MONEY says a lot about their CUST SERVICE which is ZERO especially with the girls in the office and that they are willing to CHEAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. Use anyone else but CHESAPEAKE WASTE.
