    I bought a White 2018 **** Focus Sedan as is from N A Motors on May 28th 2025 through financing. I got a loan of 7800 from ****************************. The day of getting the car I gave the cashiers check and a small payment of $69 totaling to $7868. The day of the signing I was only given two pieces of paper which was the seller/buyer agreement and a piece of paper stating that I have a month, 3000 mile warranty on the car in my name that was signed for me. But after only having it for 9 days the engine went out. I called the dealership and they tried to give me advice on what might be wrong. First they said it could be the oil level but then after taking it to the dealership they said it wasn't the engine I was told they can charge me $60 to check if it was the timing belt and in the end it was. After finding out it was the timing belt I called cars protection plus to see if it was covered in the coverage and it was. I then got a call back the next day saying it wasn't covered because I drove over 3000 miles. After proving that the odometer was at ****** when I bought it instead of ****** it was said to be covered again. But then the next day I was told it wasn't covered again because my coverage only covers a timing belt and I have a timing chain even though they are the same thing. I contacted the dealer and told them the warranty that was given to me doesn't cover the timing chain but all I was given was a apology and was promised to be more attentive next time.
