This is the worst moving company. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. They are the worst first they get the date wrong then you have problems trying to get your deposit back and make matters worse. Items of jewelry are missing. They say they are based out of ******************, but the address on *************** is nothing but tow yard, they came in a beat-up truck. The liftgate didnt work no moving company name on the side, they will give you a quote and you would definitely pay more than stated. This has to be one of the worst companies out there so please do yourself a favor. Read the reviews which I didnt and thats totally my fault.

    Business Response

    Date: 01/03/2025

We looked at the log and the job ticket. Mr. ***** ****** called and received a quote which he agreed to and locked in a date. On the date our crew showed up in a 2019 International box truck that is 5years old. This truck equipped with a liftgate and proper moving equipment. Our driver proceeded inside the home. He showed the paperwork and got Mr. ****** approval to start the job. As the crew did a walk through the home had a very foul smell of Dog p*** and urine. Our driver went outside and called the office regarding the smell and dog p*** ******** was on the fence about proceeding because of the hazard. We gave them the option to make the decision and they agreed to complete the job. Our driver and crew leader told us Mr. ****** was there the whole time watching and talking to the crew. There were no valuables like jewelry laying around and all. ******** completed the job and got back to the office. We never got any complaint from mr. ****** until 2 weeks later. At the time our system had sent out the refund for deposit. He complained about Jewelry missing and we advised him to make a police report if that was true. It has been over a month and there hasn't been any reports. We have done everything in our power to give Mr. ****** a fair price and a great move. We are one of the leading movers in the area. If there is anything else please don't hesitate to call us. Also we will strive to do even better for the customer in the future if he decides to use us again. Thank you and happy New year 2025.

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

All of this is a complete lie.  I have pictures of all of my belongings being packed and placed in one room on my phone, plus I have call logs of calling you multiple times that day asking where your staff was because they took forever AND when you all charged me to move my items in my new place. I left your staff in my apartment because they said I didn't need to be present for them to load.  Unfortunately I didn't realize they would lollygag and take 3 hours to load a one bedroom apartment on a truck, when the items were already packed and boxed.

You all clearly coach your team to take as long as possible so you can charge more.  It should not take a total of 6 hours to move someone who's packed all of their belongings 30 minutes down the road.  I would like fo you all to charge me for the estimate that you quoted me and nothing more as it only should have taken three hours give or take to move my things.

    Regards,

    *************************

1, stating that the initial $580 was a base 3 hours of work, and the extra charges were the additional 'estimated' charge for an additional 3 hours. Additionally, the movers told me that they LEGALLY had possesion of my items until I paid and they couldn't unload the truck without taking payment. Considering it was 6pm at night and I was being charged by my apartment to reserve an elevator late I went ahead and paid, but immediately called the moving office where I was yelled at by the person on the phone. At that time I figured it was useless to talk to them further and decided to go through my bank which proved to be uselss. The movers took 3 extra hours (which came out to exactly what the 'estimated' additional hours were charged) to unload the truck taking us almost to 9pm at night. Being that it was so late, I paid them but they should be held accountable for their business practices of holding your belongings hostage to force you into payment before they complete the job.
