I recently just moved into Bright Meadows Townhomes and Apartments. I had an issue initially where they had to adjust my move in date to a later date which caused me not to able to move in initially on 2nd of January. Instead this was adjusted to the 5th but it only allowed me to survey the apartment on the day before January 4th, which usually isn't enough time to decide if something is worth saying yes or no on a property. During this time they're were several items that I brought up to the rental offices attention. The two main items being the fridge and the mirrors in the bathroom. Which were damaged visibly via scratches on the mirror while also being dirty. I initially thought this would be rectified on move in date but it was not. So I included the images in the move-in checklist to be evaluated/fixed. We're now day at January 18th and she came in and looked at and decided it was not something they wouldn't hold against me. I explained to Maya the property manager it looked very visually disappointing. I wanted to know if they could fix it. She said she would take a note of it but didn't give any follow up. This was a week ago removed. It was already enough the sink looked very worn down and the fridge as well. But the mirror was in terrible shape I had expectations this would be fixed or replaced at least. Since I did give a deposit ahead of 500.00, along with a rent of 1100 a month. I would like to have the mirror fixed or at least a replacement. Based on their feedback I havent heard any updates in this regard which gives me any impression they intend on fixing this. Which based on my lease violates the lease agreement. Appreciate any assistance. Adding docs to support claim along with the checklist to fix the mirror initially that was never done. Bianca was the one who originally showed me the property, but the manager is fairly new and they both haven't been fairly helpful in this process.
